This thread is fantastic - thank you to all involved so far.

I'm really glad that you've managed to dig up some of the Sovereign-class/Enterprise-E blueprints. Those are my favourite sets.

Wow! Now it only lacks the cross-section why has shown up on many images featuring Hal Michelson working on it, IIRC.

The uploaded sky tram has been relabelled as a concept art, and I'll upload the set from JJTrek4ever to the flickr soon

I've just scanned in some blueprints from the "Star Trek Voyager - A Vision of the Future". Each blueprint had to be scanned at 1000dpi to make the numbers readable, but it did make the file size 20-60mb each.

For those unfamilliar with flickr, To get the full version click "..." on the side bar and select "Download / All sizes" and then click "Original"

    Scanned:
    Voyager Engineering - https://www.flickr.com/photos/99878876@N02/14082525800/
Front and side of voyager's bridge - https://www.flickr.com/photos/99878876@N02/14088297037/
    Rear Of voyager's bridge - https://www.flickr.com/photos/99878876@N02/14275019275/
    Stage 9 - https://www.flickr.com/photos/99878876@N02/14088471439/
    Stage 8 - https://www.flickr.com/photos/99878876@N02/14266757672/
Bridge overview showing lcar display tape selection - https://www.flickr.com/photos/99878876@N02/14275179125/
Voyager transporter (top view, side view and console) - https://www.flickr.com/photos/99878876@N02/14266850612/
Voyager Sick bay (includes a biomedical lab which wasn't built) - https://www.flickr.com/photos/99878876@N02/14269028835/

I have previous posted the rear of the bridge and engineering (acquired from the internet), but this time the numbers are really readable.

Nice! Really impressive quality and everything, my eyes must be bad though I can still barely read out the dimensions :P

I'm working on a drawing of how the FC engineering sets were meant to go together, at the very least if we can't get an official blueprint somewhere, i should be able to get a rough idea of the shape/layout of both floors of corridors and engineering. Finding those screenshots of the jefferies tube for the righteous really helped.

redGeneral, In lieu of blueprints, until we can get our hands on some, could you consider uploading scans of the corridor sets and airlock sets for the E-E and E-B from that sketchbook you got? It's better then having nothing for the E-B at least I reckon.

I'd love to see the partial STIII Excelsior bridge set, and to get dimensions of the STV bridge (which I suspect they made too big for it's dome)

    Going through the movie sketchbook,

Enterprise B - it mostly focuses on the studio model (only thing with photos), with the only sets (concept art only) being the sickbay and the unbuilt deflector control room. I'll scan these next.

For the Enterprise E - the airlock concept art go across the middle of two pages - I tried scanning, but it can only get the edges of the images due to the spine. Its the same with most of the corridor pictures, and a few that don't, instead have had a "fish-eye" lens filter applied.

I really don't get why they were put across the spine as each picture was small enough to go on a single page.

This leaves about two pictures of corridors (they do get very close to the spine though), a borg alcove, the engineering door (can't see the corridor), and a picture of the warp core. I'll scan these soon.

Various places. Pat Star Trek Stage history was where I started, but I found the blueprints there to be inaccurate in terms of the drawing (not the general layout). Later I found more searching on the flare scifi3d forums, joseralat.com (now defunct) and ebay.

I'll upload the BSG ones later, Doug Drexler also posted some copies of his Galactica '03 set plans on facebook, so I haven't had a chance to grab those yet either.

Doug Drexler put up some higher quality ones of the BSG on his facebook page. And there are high quality refs of EVERY Stargate set on Joe Malozzi's blog, I just haven't had a chance to download them yet. Enjoy what I do have however.

Too bad so many of these are only available as thumbnails and not really readable.

true, but I was after these largely for 3d modelling work, as long as I have shapes and layouts right, I can extrapolate other details. So size isn't really a major issue for me. that's why these never bothered me that much, it's easily enough detail to reproduce standing sets and redresses.

The other thing interesting is the CIC is not connected to the rest of the set, it's only connected to the viper launch tubes and hangar bay (with the cylon base ship sets taking the top left part of the stage). Everything on the large walkaround sets (Larger then the E-D and Stage-9 extended) is purely the labs, quarters, etc...

If any mods frequent this thread, I might suggest that it be pinned, as it does contain a rather large amount of reference materials for set design that many may find useful in building CG sets (or real ones for fan productions, for that matter).

That sickbay is interesting.. it looks like the medical lab was meant to be a lot bigger in the final set.
