Welcome back everyone! We start a five week journey in a couple of hours. Who's excited to see their personal favorite dalek get a couple seconds of screen time? Also it is tomorrow the new season airs right? My apologies if i'm a week early. I blame the helmic regulator.
Looking forward to seeing the Daleks in a proper outing, but with Moffat at the helm who knows. Either way, can't wait.
About bloody time too! It's been a long, dry summer. Time to start chanting my annual "Please don't let it suck!" mantra.
Amazing epsiode, and what about that twist....874/10 from me. Spoiler: Twist Nurse, my medication is overdue again...NURSE!!!
Well, I've been so far away from spoilers that it feels like this episode is getting no buzz. I'm looking forward to it, and the return of the Daleks as the forefront villains in an episode for the first time in what feels like 2 years. I also hope this season tones down on the timey-whimey and tones up a little more seriousness combined with the fun. One of the things I liked about the first season is the show could get dark if it needed to (Dalek being the best example) and I don't think we've seen Smith play the anger/sad emotions that much, at least the way Eccleston and to a lesser extent Tennant play them. I want to see more range from Smith this year, and hopefully that happens.
It's only going to be on for five weeks? Correct me if I'm wrong someone, but it's not been on since last Christmas right? If DW is aimed as much at children as anyone (and despite all the willy and fanny jokes, it is) then that's over 8 months without it only for it to come back for one month. And that's a long time without it for a child.
Did everyone see the planet 'Vulcan' listed on the Dalek war survivors manifest? lol The daleks were responsible... not the Romulans M
Loved it but, what you betting someone complains to the fail about kids being scared by the skeletons.
