I personally use Audiograbber, it has a option for using CD-Text for the track names. Quick and easy.

I don't mind waiting, I listen to the CDs when I'm at home... I just don't want to haul that beautiful box set to work with me every day - I have no doubt that it would wind up getting damaged in transit eventually and I just can't bring myself to do let that happen!

Although I picked it up at the event, it is actually an early Christmas present from my wonderful, long-suffering wife. :)

While I geek out about the music/presentation etc., that's what makes it priceless to me.

No. No. Not "even worse". :)

Try Exact Audio Copy. You can even use it to rip to Apple Lossless.

That's a pretty nice boat that we both seem to be in, isn't it? :techman:

Never got a shipping notice. Instead I just got CDs!

    Ahhhhhhh...

Just finished Disc 1. I'll be writing it up in the next couple of days. Short answer: All that it should be and more! (Wife put it on my desk. No tree for me!)

    Gah

I've yet to be charged, so I don't think mine's left the starting blocks

I'm just wondering if we overwhelmed their shipping department.

I had my order placed within the first half hour of sales and I just got my shipping notification late Friday afternoon. When I look at how fast Christopher got his notice and extrapolate that mine was placed within 30 minutes of his, that tells me they got mondo orders.

I really wish someone from LaLa would make a statement about how it's doing sales-wise, because I'd really like to know.

Ah, so THAT'S what's going on. I haven't been charged yet either.

No wonder I haven't received a shipping notice.

Oh well. I pride myself on my patience. I guess this is a test.

Well, for what it's worth, I have been charged, but haven't received a shipping notice yet either. So I'm not sure the correlation of payment/shipment is really all that big. But then again, I'm an international customer, so maybe that's handled differently.

I'd like to mirror Malformed's wish; it would be cool to know just how many sets have been sold by now.

I'm surprised they haven't sold out already. Maybe I didn't need to rush after all.

I didn't get to make my order until about an hour after La La Land starting taking them, and I've seen no shipping notices yet.

Mine has made it to my local sort facility as of 7:30 PM last night (don't know if that is local or origin time) but nothing updated since then. Would be nice if it came today, but looks like it should be here by Monday now at the latest (fingers crossed).

Not that they really need to say anything, but MV Gerhard shared this at the Film Score Monthly message board, "Let put this all in perspective:

We received nearly 1000 orders in less than 15 minutes...and a shitload more since 1:15 pm on Dec 4.

We have 12 people (give or take) working on processing and packing orders from 8 am to 9 pm, no weekend breaks.

    Thank you for your patience

    MV"

NIce and thanks for the quotage Indysolo!

You just know that LaLa is a small, mom&pop kinda place and it's great to know this has been a grand slam for them!
