I remember driving round town Down Here in the late 70s, in my Dodge Phoenix on a Saturday night, and American Top 40 would be on the radio. Good memories. He'll be missed.
That wonderfully familiar voice that graced my radio is now silent. May he rest in peace. Farewell, Casey.
Ken is the character's original anime name, auntie. I loved Teletran 1. "Explore! Explore! Repair! Repair!" And I add to his list of creds Alexander Cabot III from Josie and the Pussycats.
I loved listening to the Top 40 on Sundays. "Keep your feet on the ground, and keep reaching for the stars." RIP
Echoing others, Shaggy and America's Top 40 were a big part of my childhood not to mention Robin and Battle of the Planets. His voice always takes me back to days long gone. RIP
I remember when Casey had a regular live gig as a DJ spinning the hits here at KRLA during the height of Beatlemania. God, time goes by so fast. RIP, Casey.
I did not know that he did the voice of Shaggy at the time. He will be missed. Shame on the person who was withholding his food and fluids, if it were my family member I would have done everything that I could to hold on as long as I could.
Same here. I only found out via the radio (iirc), some kid wanted to hear him do the voice and he was nice enough to do so for her . Definitely. Got an update: His remains were moved from the funeral home against his children's wishes Source: news.msn.com So, so sad . Even in death, he's not allowed to rest in peace. Shame on whoever did this.
