I have gone of cosy mysteries of late, even one involving cats.

The Mist doesn't seem to be available on Audible.

Aw, that's too bad. Years ago, there was a really nice dramatized version of it, like an old radio show. I remember it being advertised "in 3D sound."

Isn't the Mist featured in the Skeleton Crew anthology? Is that available on Audible? I agree it's a really good story

It seems that only 4 stories are in the Audible version of the Skeleton Crew.

    Gramma
    The Raft
    Mrs Todd's Shortcut
    The Monkey

People have complained in the reviews about The Mist being left out.

Maybe I will have to get it on Kindle.

However I could do with a good book to listen to. I am ill at the moment and am not really up a print book. Maybe I will just put the third Wizard of Oz book on and listen to that.

I know its fashionable to prefer the film, even King prefers their ending, but I have to say I like the novella more than the film--though the film is good.

    Getting there -but slowly.
I'm on page 836 (a little over the midway point) of C. M. Kornbluth's His Share of Glory. And loving it.
I'm in volume 4 (of 7) of my Illustrated history of Denmark. And loving it.

Just to say that I'm still here and still reading...

Anger Is An Energy by John Lydon. A fascinating fella and, deep down, not the Rotten character you'd expect.

Just finished reading Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire, which I had recently seen on stage for the first time. (Have never seen the movie.)

Try The Silent Twin, by Caroline Mitchell...it says it's on both Kindle and Audible...just be prepared to be up till you finish it. It's a can't-put-down book.

It is the third book in the series. Should I read the others first, or is The Silent Twin, stand alone enough to read first.

I ended up getting the following two with this month's audible credits

From the Corner of His Eye by Dean Koontz
Doctor Who: Time Lord Fairy Tales by Justin Richards

I will probably end up buying another 3 credits in a couple of weeks time especially as the new Douglas Preston/Lincoln Child book is coming out on 17 May.

Does the book only deal with US money or is it more global?
