If done right, another story from Arendelle could be excellent. We could see what happens when Elsa gets dumped... :ouch:

My mom heard me watching it, and swore it was the same woman.
I was amazed how well all of the languages fit the music, and how well it flowed together.

I think this proves once and for all that Frozen has become a real phenomenon.

^ If the release makes some coin, I'll agree. It is, of course, a money-making gimmick. But if people go and enjoy it, then hey ... it's a win-win.

There certainly are worse movies to turn into gimmicks. At least Frozen is a quality movie that doesn't force its main characters into decades-old molds.

I understand that several of the foreign singers were picked for having played Elphaba in their country's translation of Wicked, so somebody else had already done a lot of the dubbers' casting work for them.

Just got back from the Movies and Frozen absolutely shocked me. I remember watching the first teaser and I think it was Olif and Sven trying to cross the pond. I thought this was going to be another Disney kids movie. Then last night I saw a parody of the song Let it Go featuring Star Trek: First Contact (from Lily's perspective if you have seen the movie or care about such things) and it motivated me to finally check out this movie. Boy I'm glad I did. The story and the music reminded me of Disney's golden Era (Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast) and it was almost like being 5 again.

Also, watching this movie, I'm a big fan of the Disneyland Resort and I couldn't help but think how awesome a World of Color segment would be (And I know they did one for the holidays) featuring this movie. Just imagine the fountains going during the chorus of "Let it Go" and I think it would be spectacular, in the only way Disney knows how.

I saw that last night. Another reason to motivate me to go see this movie. I wonder if they had done Frozen with World of Color in mind because there were parts of the film that felt like it.

I attempted borrow someone's child yesterday so that I could go see "Frozen." Taking a child with me seems less weird than a grown man seeing a Disney movie by himself. :p

Don't be embarrassed by that. I wasn't. If you want to see the movie, than see the movie.

I must admit I've found having a niece to be convenient in this respect.

I've started going to movies as a grown woman. I don't care who sees me anymore.
