Well, hey. We've got a thread for the other two big consoles why not the Wii as well? Here's mine: 1. Super Smash Bros. Brawl 2. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess 3. Metroid Prime 3 Honorable mention: Super Mario Galaxy, No More Heroes
The only Wii game I played that I actually enjoyed was Super Mario Galaxy. Mario Kart has horrible controls.
1. Super Smash Bros. Brawl 2. Super Mario Galaxy 3. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess If we're including multiplatform games, I've spent a lot of great hours with Rock Band 2 and LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga.
Have you tried the Wiimote/Nunchuk combo for Mario Kart? I found the controls with that setup almost perfect.
Naw, you just gotta get used to the drift and once you figure that out on manual, it's a breeze, but to each their own. (The following will usually change over time) #1 - Wii Sports Resort #2 - Guitar Hero 5 #3 - Metroid Prime 3: Corruption I would have said Zelda: Twilight Princess, if I had it for the Wii, however I bought it for the Gamecube at the time and then got the Wii later on. I still play it on the Wii, but I guess my version doesn't count. Another mention would be Prince of Persia: Rival Swords
Mario Kart Wii has a ridiculous number of options. Wiimote only (crap, but the kids love it), wiimote + nunchuk (pretty good, but you do have to do some waggle), and then classic controller and gamecube. If you can't find a scheme you like maybe you just never liked Mario Kart in the first place! Anyway my top 3 (in order): Mario Kart Wii (online racing is too much fun) Resident Evil 4 Punch Out!
I *LOVE* Mario Kart. We used to play the N64 and Gamecube and DS versions constantly. I love all three of those. It's just the Wii version I can't stand.
I've heard other people say that, but I don't get it. I use the remote only on Mario Kart and it works fine for me. As for the thread topic, I only own two games(Well, 4 if you count the fit and sports), but I love playing old NES games on the virtual console.
If we're talking Wii exclusives, It'll be: 1) Mario Galaxy 2) Zelda: Twilight Princess 3) Mario Kart If we're adding in all games, Rock Band 2 takes over by number 1. It's the only disc that's been in my Wii for months. (I have a small kid, and in my very limited gaming time, I split between RB2 and Final Fantasy 4: The After Years)
