If we're talking about an android like Data then permanently shut down an EMH, only because IMO the hardware would be more important than software. Would you rather experience Pon Farr or suffer from Polywater Intoxication for a day?
Romulans, I'd be more likely to crack from a brutal beatdown than deception and trickery. Would you rather be a slave to the Orions or a slave to the prophets?
Prophets. Sisko may have had his chain yanked by them multiple times, but for the most part he did get to live his life. The Orions beat you, rape you and sell you. Would you rather elect Gul Dukat or Brunt Head of State of your nation?
Gul Dukat. Say what you will about his methods, if he's fighting for you he'll do his best. Would you rather spend a few hours in the holodeck with Picard sailing on the 19th century Enterprise, playing baseball with Sisko, or in deep thought with Janeway and Leonardo da Vinci?
Baseball with Sisko, because that sounds more fun. Would you rather go into battle with 1 Prometheus class, or 3 Miranda class starships?

Ligon II, I would like the safari vacation better. As the leader of your planet that's equal distance from DS9, Cardassia, and conquered Klingon planets... Would you rather join the Federation, the Cardassian Union, the Klingon Empire, or the Dominion?
I'd rather take my chances that the Federation could protect my planet. I think my people would regret joining the others. We'd essentially be conquered already. Even the Karemma seemed to live in fear of the Jem'Hadar. If the Klingons remained an enemy of the Federation into the 24th century, whom would you want your Federation to build an alliance with instead: the Romulan Star Empire, Ferengi Alliance, Cardassian Union, or the Dominion?
Outside of Klingon threat, the Cardassians; given Klingon hostility, the Romulans have a better battle record. Who would you rather enlist to guard your valuables -- Quark, or Rom?
Rom. He'd give it up as soon as someone threatened him but at least he won't steal it. Would you rather party with Klingons, Cardassians, or the Orion?

Hologram, a physical being in my image would be too creepy. Would you rather be forced to scrub all of the Enterprise's plasma vents with a toothbrush or be forced to have a 10min conversation with Neelix? (I'd pick the vents)
I'll take the conversation with Neelix. After dealing with my in-laws, I've gotten to be an expert at tuning people out while they are blathering on. Would you rather be a mentor to Harry Kim or Travis Mayweather?
Unless the vents take less than ten minutes to clean, I'll talk with Neelix. He's great with kids and all but... Mayweather. He seems to have an interesting life (based on his attitude) that the show didn't touch on that I wouldn't mind finding out while mentoring him. Would you rather follow Archer, Kirk, Picard, Sisko, or Janeway into a hostile part of space?
Picard, I think. He seemed the smartest of the bunch. Would you rather be first officer to Archer or Janeway?
Archer. Janeway just wanted her Xo to be a yes man and Archer's ship participated in more interesting stuff for the most part. Would you rather play dabo with Weyoun or go to Vulcan with T'Pol?
