    Corn waffles with a fresh tomato and bean salsa. Looked kinda like these: http://www.bhg.com/recipe/breads/corn-waffles-with-tomato-salsa/

    I picked up this checkout counter recipe book on a whim because it looked like it had a lot of good summertime recipes for lighter meals that don't involve turning the oven on for hours.

    My boyfriend cooked tonight and he made pasta with meat-and salamisauce... yummy!

    homemade white pizza with grilled chicken, broccoli, Alfredo sauce, baby spinach, portabella, ---some good white wine.

    I don't know about the mushrooms, but I love the soup -and the cheese bread just makes it perfect :drool:

    Alas, last night it was thawed, nuked pizza :(

    But I'm having a nice Broccoli Gratin now :drool: - and red wine!

    Ham barley soup and some stale tortilla chips. And a small mesquite turkey sandwich with baby Swiss cheese on Italian sesame bread.

    • Caprese salad (mozzarella cheese & tomatoes w/ balsamic vinegar)
    • House salad with viniagrette dressing
    • Cheese tortellini with pomodoro sauce and grilled chicken

    Left over ham, turkey, potatoes (normal and sweet), peas, corn, carrots from "Christmas in July" and two apples.

    I sauteed up some ground turkey and vegetables and served it over pasta. Basic plain jane Tuesday meal.

    Man out tonight so we've having teenager food ~ cheeseburgers, fried chicken, curly fries, coleslaw and beans with orange kitkats for pudding :drool:
