Who would you like to portray the 12th doctor?

Davison has lots of good stories, IMHO.

Kinda, Snakedance and Caves of Androzani for starters are all excellent. That's 12 episodes right there

 

Never seen either of those. I heard Androzani was realy good though.

 

Joanna Lumley, Bill Nighy, Benedict Cumberbatch, Rhod Gilbert, Barney Harwood, Zooey Deschanel, Prof. Brian Cox, Stephen Fry, Jon Anderson, Bill Bailey or Parminder Nagra.

 

Oh no, I wouldn't want a female doctor. It just wouldn't work. I'm not being sexist (or at least I don't intend to be), but I think a female Doctor would ruin the show forever. That might be the one thing that would make me stop watching the show. What next, pink sonic screwdrivers, Davros getting a manicure, tall biff men with biceps the size of Brighton as companions, pinkish move inside tradis, a slight purplish tinge to the outside tardis, cyber women, female Sontarans, bitch fights between the female doctor and female Silurians? No thank you!

And I don't know what all the fuss about this Benedict Cumberbatch is all about. I don't like his look at all. He might, just might be able to pull of the Master by the skin of his teeth, but the Doctor. Oh no!

Brian Cox might work, but he's not really an actor.

 

Whomever it is, I hope they go a bit older next time. This thing with the Doc's getting younger and younger is ridiculous. Maybe Martin Clunes? (love Doc Martin)

 

They say an older actor wouldn't be able to keep up with the frantic pace of filming a whole season and I believe them. Now if we only get seven episodes a year, I think an older actor could be cast in the role.

Besides, Eddie Izzard is a marathon runner.

I imagine it'd be a relatively minor unknown, as Smith and (to a lesser extent) Tennant were.

 

Yeah, Davison is great in it, not sure about Davidson. Haven't seen anything with him in it.

 

Davidson was in the infamous knock-off "The Caverns of the Andronazis".

I agree that we need someone a bit older, but I don't like the idea if Martin Clunes at all. I'd want someone middle aged really, someone like Jason Flemyng.

Still no. No matter who portrays a female doctor, I would hate it. Even if she played I well, the concept itself is so awful I wouldn't be able to see past that.

I really don't know all this fuss about a female doctor, I think it would be a terrible idea.

 

She's a horrific actor, it'd be awful.
