    One more picture...

This is the site (in Detroit) where old Tiger Stadium used to be. Those people in the blue and orange shirts, are fans who have been maintaining the site on their own since the stadium was demolished (the field they're playing on, plus the flagpole, is basically all that remains of Tiger Stadium).

Cool anecdote ... and a very nice "candid" capture, too.

Woah ... nice set, SD! I'm actually going to be in D.C. at the end of July. It's nice to see what I have to look forward to.

Also, I love how you captured the different levels of light and shadow in these shots. Really fantastic.

    ETA:
Might I suggest you use one of your shots here? ;)

Thanks! I was playing around with the metering mode and I really liked the results.

The Air and Space Museum is one of the coolest attractions in the entire D.C. area and never gets old. These are some great pics!

For the shots with a lot of back-lighting I used partial metering mode.

I'm definitely going to have to experiment with that myself. Your results are fantastic. And now I'm wondering how this shot would have turned out if I'd used that setting (I had the camera set to "Evaluative Metering"):

I bought a new bookshelf for my graphic novels today. Of course, being me, I also immediately covered it with toys:

Sadly, no, it isn't. I've not yet been to a Manhattanenge "event" (though I should try and go to the next occurrence of it). This photo (though still in Manhattan) was from just a random Saturday evening in June, on 8th Street, in Greenwich Village.

Thanks. I'll have you know I debated for a long time whether the Green Lantern and Green Lantern Corps titles should be separate or put together in chronological order. In the end chronological won out for ease of reading.
