Well someone has to put an episode in the lead, I guess I'll vote for Phage. I thought it was above average but there were several episodes from the first season that I'd rather watch, especially Eye of the Needle which is an episode I really like a lot.

    Phage - 2
Eye of the Needle - 1
    Death Wish - 1
    Meld - 1

Then I would suggest simply in the event of a tie the first episode to recieve the highest vote is eliminated.

I'm not going to help things, sorry. I'm voting for Future's End II, which wasn't as fun as the first part.

I must be pretty slow but I'm not following! Are you saying, like if episode A and episode B are tied on 3 votes, and episode A was the first one to reach 3, then A is eliminated after 72 hours?

BlueStuff, maybe you should be the only one to remove the episodes from the lineups once their votes reach the chopping block. Else we're going to have more trouble with crosspost cut&pasting.

But cross-posting was fun! I didn't know what had won in season six for about five minutes. ;)

We've had cross posting before, sure it's a danger but in any competition and this is a competition of sorts first to the buzzer goes first.

Can you imagine all the crossposts that will happen when it's ENT's turn?

I wonder if we'll be anyless divided on ENT. If anything S4 might be the hardest. S1-2 only had a few standout episodes.

    I vote Meld.

Because Voyager has way too many "One character goes wacky for one episode then goes right back to normal" episodes.

Phage - Nah, I never bought the Vidiians as a legit Star Trek species. If what happened to them was real, their society would have collapsed immediately, and extinction would have quickly followed.

Well anyone who's followed this forum knows I've never been shy to criticize Enterprise... or Voyager..... but for the most part the episodes I've had a vendetta against were eliminated in short order not by me anyways. Really the only problem with this game is the people who have something against the good episodes and eliminate them immediately.

I'm not a huge fan of the episode either, but if all societies that would collapse immediately are not legit Star Trek species, we'd have a pretty empty galaxy. :guffaw:

I think in the real world, the Ferengi would be lord and masters of the galaxy.

Future's End II - I never thought of that two-parter as one of the better VOY episodes, seemed quite average to me.

However one persons good episode might be someones bad episode, as we all have different tastes.

Yeah, I was somewhat disappointed that DS9: Duet was eliminated very early in its round, and the reason given seemed to be the impostor's death.

Though I knocked out what was probably a favorite with Voyager (Message in a Bottle), because I didn't care for some of the silliness of the guest star. But that was much later in the round.

The same thing happened with Duet last time this game was played, it was knocked out very early on and the reason... well I don't remember but I'm sure it was not good. At least, not good enough! Still, that's what makes it all so unpredictable.
