yeah, but dont expect miracles, the main defense of a Defiant is still it's speed and since it doesnt have much hull and shields to begin with those 10% are not like an increase similar to an Intrepid or Galaxy.

Bought 4 fleet modules and got the Fleet Tactical Escort Retrofit. Now to load it up with MK XII fleet gear !!

I thought I had the retrofit, but I only had purchased the Sao Paulo Refit.

The Industrial fabricator is ripe for the upgrade. Every requirement is met, except a shitload of dilithium once again.
if you have something to spare don't put it into any other project for now.

2) Did anyone attend the SciFi Days in Gruenstadt, Germany this past weekend? It was a nice little Con, although a little heavy on the Star Wars theme. I picked up a few ship minis at a decent price: Borg Cube, Miranda, and Oberth class plus a X-Wing and the Millennium Falcon.

Whaaaat?!?! It was a pain in the ass to get the colors anything else BUT bright light blue in the first place with the buggy interface. Took me almost an hour and many many pulled out hairs!!
Not touching that again with a long pole!

LOL, I was expecting some flak for throwing that suggestion out...

I ran a small fleet in a previous life and I remember how difficult it was to modify the emblem at that time. I guess that it hasn't improved any...

Please promote him to something above Recruit when you get a chance.

I was a regular sub, but purchased a LTS the first time they lowered the price to $199. There's been some disappointments in the game development, but I'm glad to be a part of the Star Trek gaming community.

As I was walking out of the theater from viewing "Star Trek Into Darkness", I received a FB invite from Scotty's son, Chris Doohan. Then I went to the con wearing my Starfleet shirt and vulcan ears. Feeling very trekkish right now.

Hm... I should check to see if my newer characters get anything. I remember that you would get a ship upon attaining VA, but that was changed quite a while ago to a 700 day? veteran award. (I think)

Yeah, you can claim a VA ship at 600 days per character, but you can also claim the 1000 day veteran destroyer on every character if you are subbed that long or a lifer.

Anyone have success with the Chimera? Did you use with your Tac or Engr char?

Both should work reasonably well. The Chimera can very easily change between a tanky and a DPS build.

Or even throw a bit science weight around.

My KDF Engr grabbed the Destroyer. It's cool. He was a med tank before. Was considering retooling into a serious tank, but this ship has changed my mind. The increased maneuverability is addictive.

My characters have ended up in a weird situation. Right now, my Science Officer's Recluse has more shields, more hull, more abilities and dishes out more damage than my Tactical Officer's Fleet Armitage.
