I still don't think Finch is going to get the job not after the delays for Forever Evil. The only source that says it's them is Bleedingcool, which has an iffy record in regards to DC.

I'm hoping personally for Soule or Snyder.

Soule would be my personal bet to get it...he's been doing excellent work with Diana (the company preferred version if you will) on Superman/Wonder Woman...Snyder is already spreading himself thin and has a ton on his plate now thanks to the return of American Vampire and Batman Eternal.

It does seem interesting that Rich's DC scoops have been getting less and less while his Marvel scoops are increasing over the last few months. You know things are bad for him when he even has to report 4 Chan and Tako scoops! LOL

He is losing his touch. His latest "scoop" with regards to Original Sin has been around for a couple of weeks. He is basically playing telephone with message boards.

Comicbooks first ruined porn for me, and then eventually ruined strip clubs.

Real women unfortunately don't look like that.

I read the issue last week. I enjoyed it.

Yes, it's derivative of several things, from Days of Future Past to the Borg. But it's done well enough to be interesting and intriguing.

    It has me curious. :)

^ Lucky!! I must admit the scope of this seems pretty huge...maybe the biggest thing that the relaunch has done yet, so I'm interested in seeing how it unfolds. I've been really impressed by "Forever Evil" so hopefully they can continue the momentum into Future's End.

Wondergirl has a broken back. Purple guy has a broken leg. Red Robin has a leg coming out of his abdomen and what appears to be a large tumor in place of his right leg.

I think that's the first time I've seen Kenneth Rocafort compared to Rob Liefeld. He's anything but if you've seen his art on "Superman" and other books.

Rocafort is more Michael Turner and Silvestri than Liefeld imo.

    This is Liefeld's TT btw.

Batman Eternal #1. Good start. Weird to see Snyder writing modern day Batman after Zero Year taking so long. The flashfoward was very-very interesting. This entire thing smacked of Grant Morrison so I can only assume that was Doctor Hurt behind it all. Hell, the guy that Gordon chased even looked like Morrison!

I can possibly understand how that is Captain America... But I can't understand how someone that deformed could ever try to pass as anyone who is not Captain America with some half assed attempt at a secret identity... Although depending on how you look at it, that is Heroes Reborn Captain America, which was Regular Steve Roger's soul mashed by the collapsing cloud that was Onslaught (Xavier and Magneto's love child) stuffed into Franklin Richard's bouncy ball, that also seemed to be, because the writers didn't really talk to each other, the High Evolutionary's CounterEarth which is an identical duplicate of 616 always on the opposite side of the sun from regular Earth, so this particular otheruniversily rendition of captain America's physique is exaggerated and sculpted by the imagination of a 6 year old child.
