Bloodlines is better than Tribes, but still not very good. They should call it Supernaturalfellas.

Bloodlines puts me in the mind of cheesy steamy vampire stuff.

To me it sounds like a show about genealogy...

    ^ You're too literal :)

Looking at Amazon I see there is a series of YA Bloodlines novels that launched Vampire Academy, which sounds like something I should be familiar with but can't quite place. IMDB also reveals a Vampire the Masquerade - Bloodlines videogame. Lifetime had Blood Ties. Maybe I'm subconsciously channeling those.

To me, bloodlines sound like the sort of thing you have when there's dripping blood. ;)

Amazon Studios has picked up Chris Carter's The After as a series. The pilot was made available for viewing just over a month ago.

Ohh, conflicted. I loved Rose McIver on Power Rangers RPM, but I am so thoroughly uninterested in a show about a zombie.

Once Upon a Time keeps loosing actors to other shows. They need to tighten up those contracts.

SyFy mandate: greenlight a space opera

Syfy's Plan: More Space Operas, Less 'Sharknado'

    good news.
space opera tv series is a better medium than an action movie set on a starship.

I'm not actually pleased to hear that. I like the lighter, more fun stuff like Eureka and Warehouse 13 more than the pretentiously dark stuff like Galactica and Defiance. W13 has managed to have very powerful and dramatic moments without having to be grim and brutal all the time.

I was just about to post this dammit. However, my hopes arent very high.

Watching season 1 of Spacehunter and Osiris chronicles has me itching for tv space opera now.

Yeah, you can have both thought provoking and fun sci-fi, just have less wrestling and ghost hunter crap.

Wrestling and reality shows help pay for Syfy's scripted shows.
