I wasn't implying that this disqualifies him from playing The Doctor, if that's what you're thinking. Merely pointing out his DW connection.
Exactly! Long wait, then we get mainly shit. There are only a few decent episodes and then mainly shit. We get a good episode, then we have to repay by having three or four sit episodes. Some 50th anniversary this. Oh, okay.
Aye, none of them have been remotely near as bad as say Fear Her, Love & Monsters or 42. Hell even Rings of Akhaten has grown on me.
Me Three. The Pirate one didn't do much for me, and the one with the little boy and the freaky dolls (The male version of Fear Her). But, I like just about every other Smith episode. Victory of the Daleks and Rings of Ahkaten I didn't think much of first time around, but, I've come to dislike them a little less since my first viewing.
For me, the pirate one was a real dud, although not as bad as Fear Her or Love and Monsters. I really liked Rings of Ahkaten even on the first view. Alright, I pretty much loathe Victory of the Daleks though. Rewatching it didn't help either. Mr Awe
Those were exceptionally bad RTD episodes though. But Moffat has done more bad episodes than RTD. And 42 wasn't that bad. I remember quite liking it on first viewing. And Rungs of Akhaten? You're joking right? That was just pure shit. I was the opposite with Victory. On first viewing I thought it was okay. But in later years I've grown to hate it. And Akhaten is just bad all round. I really should review all the episodes at some point.
Gee. Guess who's one of the monster/villains of series 7 http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006q2x0/features/monsters Well I suppose its customary to have the master be apart of the doctor regeneration somehow.
If they bring the Master back, they better put him in a suit again. The Master in a hoodie? Highly dubious.
Somebody probably cocked up putting the Master there, he's not appeared at any point with the Eleventh Doctor so I doubt he'd be in his last story. Off topic the black logo over a gold background on the beebs official page looks fantastic, hope its used in the titles.
Some details Spoiler: Details It seems The Silence will be involved, and while there are a lot of returning adversaries in this, the Daleks are the cheif antagonists of the episode, their knowledge of The Doctor has been restored and they are NOT happy. We'll return to Trenzalore, and the question will again be asked, and we finally find out the meaning behind it being the first question
I wonder how it'll go. Spoiler: Details I heard some rumors that had Clara's grandfather and/or grandmother appearing, and something about a town called Christmas in Trenzalore... Weird, but anyway. The Daleks, if they're the main threat, would be neat, because by the time of the episode's release, that'll mark THEIR 50th anniversary. But I doubt they'll be the main focus of the thing.
So, hmmmm.... It really does seem, more and more, like The Christmas Special is Part 3 of a 3 Parter/Trilogy (Name of The Doctor/Day Of The Doctor/Christmas Special). All connected and possibly leading into each other, culminating in the Regeneration
The Adoration of the Doctor? The Feast of the Doctor? Doctormas? I like the third one, because it would piss people off in the US. Britain probably wouldn't care.
