Yeah, that is kinda crappy. Are there mutants not associated with X-Men or any of it's various spinoffs? If not I guess I can see how the X-Men rights would give them all of the mutants, but if there are than that seems kind of unreasonable to me.

I think Shazam was making a joke against Whedon's known trademark of having female characters ridiculously stronger and more able than all their male counterparts.

Point of order: black/latino. :p (Hence I referred to him as Marvel's answer to Jamie Reyes, which I think of as a good thing).

Update on the filming: East 9th here in Cleveland has been blocked off from Euclid Avenue to Prospect since yesterday, where they've been re-dressing the street to appear as 42nd Street in NYC. Word has it that most of the cast has been over that the NASA Glenn facility, filming a scene in I believe, the wind-tunnel they have there.

Both WKYC and WEWS news showed brief snippets of them setting up shop on 9th. Major filming is supposed to begin on Thursday, according to the Plain Dealer.

I'm going to have to watch IM2 again; I don't remember him being all that memorable. Oddly enough, Jon Favreau's scenes stick out in my mind more.

Iron Man 2 wasn't all that memorable.

i beg to differ. ScarJo in a tight catsuit and changing in the back of the limo was VERY memorable.

as well as the suitcase armour, War Machine, the Japanese garden battle, Vanko's burd and Hammer's overly elaborate description of the 'Ex-wife' which ultimately fails.

Iron Man 2 was a lot of fun. Its biggest sin was not being better than the first movie; but how often are sequels really better than their predecessors?

I remember more of Iron Man 2 than Iron Man 1.

    And I enjoyed both.

Spider-man 2, The Dark Knight, Empire Strikes Back, The Wrath of Khan, Godfather II, Toy Story II, X-Men 2.

Usually it's the third movie where the wheels come off.

Sure those are good sequels but there are plenty where part II actually is of considerable lesser quality or "wheels coming off" and IM2 doesn't fit that bill. I'd call out Gremlins 2, Ghostbusters 2, Die Hard 2, Tomb Raider 2 or X-Files 2 for starters. The dissenters of that movie pile on too harshly. I mean crap if it were that bad WOM in our social media age would've killed it not to unlike what happened with Green Lantern. Iron Man 2 just isn't a bad film despite some people thinking it had to be a film like you listed above.
IM2 was entertaining and has ONE really bad scene, drunk Tony. Even that in context is understood, he thought he was going to die. His blood toxicity level was like 89%.

    Because he wasn't.

He had two worthless scenes where he was shoehorned in only so he could be "re-established" for the post-credit scene.

I loved his line about tazering Stark and watching Supernanny while he drools on the carpet.
