Is there no male role for which Johnny Depp won't be suggested?

I'm waiting for him to star in a Hitler biopic.

Depp would be awesome as Hitler. Although, he'd have to live up to Bruno Ganz in Downfall.

I bet he would struggle to fill the shoes of Martin Luther King Jr, but he'd probably give it the ol' college try.

I have to say, "Giant Man" has got to be one of the least creative codenames (and least inspiring powers) out there.

    "What's his power?"
    "He... gets really big."
"Uh huh. And they call him what?"
    "...Giant Man."
"Really? That's the best you could come up with?"

I get that Hank Pym is an actual character and everything, but his power and codename are probably the least interesting things about him. His rampant, misogynistic insanity is way more compelling!

Pym brings plenty to the table. Personal perceptions of his name, costumed identities aside there is a lot to work with.
I'm looking forward to seeing him integrated.

Tony and Cap are saying, "Thor, buddy. It's 1972 how about you knock it off with the Old English thing, okay? I mean given that you're a god to NORWEGIANS it doesn't make much sense anyway."

On that cover, in that costume, it is Clint Barton who gave up being Hawkeye and took on the name Goliath. This was when Pym could no longer use the growth serum because it was too hard on his body. Shrinking was, according to the text, not as demanding. Meanwhile, Clint could handle it supposedly because he was in much better physical condition than Hank Pym.

I believe that Clint was the first to use the name Goliath. He went back to being Hawkeye after the Kree/Skrull war.

That is an EPIC tale for a 5yr old. Score one for Edison.

So the business junkies have boilerplated it down to 6 reasons why The Avengers is a mega hit. Not as emotionally touching as Edison's but an interesting read all the same.
