From Felicia Day, creator of The Guild, comes this tie-in webseries for Dragon Age Origins. She plays a kickass elf named Tallis who teams up with a ragtag group of misfits on a quest to assassinate a mage. Yeah, it kinda sucked. I've never played Dragon Age and I have no interest in doing so, so maybe that hurt my enjoyment of the series. Anyway, the first episode is up, so take a look for yourselves. Ah, yes, thanks for the reminder. I keep forgetting to watch this. ...just like I keep forgetting to stay up-to-date on The Guild. God, I suck.
The newest season of the Guild is pretty good, but it takes a few episodes until you get used to the new setting. Clara and Zaboo both get an excellent arc, but the other characters suffer a bit. There's also a few celebrity cameos that will please any type of geek out there. Spoiler: Celebrity Cameos Neil Gaiman and Stan Lee getting interrogated by Zaboo are the highlights. Kevin Sorbo getting the shit kicked out of him by a pair of Master Chiefs runs a close second.
