F**k me. I think that may need a file size warning for the folks without speedy connections. I wonder if putting it inside spoiler tags would make for a quicker page-load?

Personally, I like the other one, but this is exactly what I was thinking of at the time!!!
STEP 2: Who knows JJ Abrams? and how much influence do you have? (If that fails, I know a guy who will kidnap his dog until he caves in... need donations though. He's expensive!) :guffaw:

No problem. I just figured that if my medium-zippy connection took that long to load it, some of the slower DSL and especially dial-up ones would really be hating it. I think making something like that a link is probably the way to go, but the spoiler tags seem to do the trick also.

Nice work, though - I like it. You can almost hear the "Woop-whoop! Woop-whoop!"

Nice. But it needs a combined thought bubble coming from both their minds that has the Sombrerorpise in it.

We can only hope that Anthony can pull some strings or something. I know it will never happen, but if this variation of the Bad Robot logo shows up in front of the film--for real--I think I'd die in the theater.

I mean that. Literally die, as in keel over in my seat and hit the floor, all biological functions stopped cold.

Scene: [interior of cinema] Bad Robot logo with sombrero appears... Gep Malakai falls over dead... rest of TrekBBS members recognize each other because they are the ones who yell when their Sombrero logo appears... Happy reunions in real life... Sadness at having to buy flowers for Gep's funeral. :vulcan:

A Time Capsule from page 50
Hi. I'm posting this from page 50. I wanted to wait till I reached the end of this thread to offer my congrats to all you fine, talented people for injecting new life into The Grand Ol' Series. Imagine, a lowly Sombrero rising to such glorious hights...
Like I was saying, I wanted to reach the end of the thread before posting, but...it seems i can't O.o I mean, I first started noticing the page count around pg 20 or so; page 20, 21, 22, 23...30. Cool, I had at least 10 more pages of Glorious sombreroprise insanity to read thru!. I was sooo afraid the fun would end too soon.
10 pages later; page 30, 31, 32, 33, 34...40. Wow! That much more sombrero goodness to look forward to! But I was really looking forward to posting some of my own comments and congrats by then. But if I did that I might have to spoil the end of the thead and that just wouldnt do. Just have to wait till the end to post..I will NOT spoil the end of
    The Greatest Thread Ever

So. Here i am at page 50. You already know what i see. I'm no closer to the end of this thread than i was at 40.
Christamighty! How frakkin' long is this thread?!?
Man I wish bbs's had time travel. Then one of you future posters could kinda send a message back to page 52 or so.You wouldnt have to give too many details about the future (wouldnt want to cause a bbs paradox or something). Just a note saying that the future of Sombreroprise is still as bright then as it is now...
Well, i have some more reading to do. I know I'll catch up to you guys some day. But, if I don't, I'll have the comfort of knowing that someone will have read my
    'message in a bottle".... :D
