Some strange editing in that fight scene with Larry in Engineering. In one shot, an officer flies at Larry from the top of the stairs, and they are both knocked to the ground. Then in the next shot, Larry is suddenly standing up and kicking the officer to the ground!

"The Enemy Within". Still one of my all time favorites. I love the direction, Shatner whirling around, "Me?!", the bloody hand going into the frame, cool stuff.

    The Drumhead (TNG-R)

Probably one of Stewart's best performances on the series. Though I thought Jean Simmons was weak as Admiral Satie, I thought Stewart acted rings around her.

    Half-a-Life (TNG-R)

Without a doubt, Majel Barrett's best performance on any Star Trek series.

Just got a bluray disc player. My first view - Star Trek: The Motion Picture. When my parents got cable in 1982 our first movie was TMP. When we got our first VCR in 1986 our first rental was TMP. My first DVD was not TMP. It hadn't come out yet, but I did buy and watch 'Where No Man Has Gone Before' first. TMP seemed only fitting for my maiden voyager on BD.

Now watching BOBW and TNG: Season 1 on BD.

On a whim, I watched "Scorpion" last night. Part 1 was great. Got five minutes into part 2 and turned it off.

Just finished rewatching DS9's "What You Leave Behind".

Is it silly that I still get misty-eyed watching it after all these years?
