I ordered mine from Amazon. But ON release day, here they are at the Camp Casey Powerzone in Korea, including a copy of the Collector's edition they said was no longer available.

    *grumble*

Ok, I had to laugh out loud on the Citadel when:
That guy is STILL trying to return his stuff. And we finally find out that all this time, it's just been a toaster oven.

Little stuff like that just makes this series magic.

Is the Citadel actually a fully-explorable area like in ME1 this time? I felt totally cheated by what they did in Mass Effect 2.

It is indeed, though it's a fully non-combat area. Though in ME1, you had to take elevators everywhere. You just get loading screens instead of the elevators in this. Really, it wasn't all that different in ME2.

Picked up my copy today and while I'm still excited by getting into it I am really enjoying SWTOR and I have some hard decisions as to how to allocate my time...not to mention I have multiplayer "commitments" for BFBC2 and Sins of a Solar Empire.

My Shep face didn't come through at all so I redid it...twice. My first attempt I just couldn't gel the voice with the face so I had to go back and make some changes. Liking the graphics. ME2 was the last new game I played on my older computer and it was dumbed down hard to run fairly smoothly, so I'm really appreciating the prettiness thanks to my newer computer.

I'm getting some animation bugs on occasion . . . like npcs being invisible for their dialog, strange animation transitions etc

I dont know if anyone else noticed this but on the wall of the Normandy there is a

Memorial with the names of all your crew members you've lost since Mass Effect 1. It updates as you go through the game
    :(

I don't know how anyone could miss it. It's the first thing you see when you enter the crew deck . . .

Well, apparently someone missed it ;)

I didn't really notice it until

after I killed off Mordin and the list grew longer

Are we on board the same Normandy built by Cerebus?

Yeah but the alliance retrofitted it so it looks a bit different

I'm enjoying that squad members and named crew members move around the ship and have conversations with one another.

Cool. Being a fan of starship porn, I look forward to exploring her.

Hope my starship model collection transferred over...

Sort of. You have to explore the ship and find them all. Same for your space hamster lol. Plus, there's a whole bunch of new ships you can buy

He's down at the bottom of the Engineering deck, where Jack was in ME2. Just go down there and look around for a minute, and you'll hear a squeak. You'll see the hamster running around on the floor, and if you're quick you can pick him up before he goes into hiding again.

Been playing it for about a few hours since yesterday evening and one word.. EPIC!

God that game is so cool.. you really are drawn into from the first minute, feel the desperation and determination and if this doesn't get made into a movie trilogy i don't know what will.

I've decided to play this Shepard as a badass willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done and if that includes stepping on a few egos and toes so be it (and paid a hilarious price with one tabloid reporter already :lol:). I'm very early in the game, finished only 2 story missions so far but i have a hard time putting it down to do other stuff but this weekend is totally reserved for ME3.

Yeah I learned my lesson in ME2: given the option, ALWAYS punch the reporter. One of the few renegade actions I've taken.

    What's the deal with Allers?
is there any purpose to having a strange looking, poorly voice-acted noncom on the ship?
