I've finished Star Trek: SCE: The Riddled Post.

I then read A Brewing Storm, the first in an e-novella trilogy about the character Derrick Storm, by "Richard Castle".

I'm now about to start Star Trek: New Frontier: The Returned, Part I by Peter David.

Finishing Star Wars: Coruscant Nights 2 tonight. Pretty good, though it was weird that the characters referred to the police throughout the novel as "cools".

Tomorrow I'll start Unspoken Truth. Really looking forward to seeing more of Saavik.

Cool. I have The Buried Age on my list to review this year (sometime in December, I think), and I have read the Captain's Tale story in that collection. I thought I had read the Double Helix novel, but upon reading the blurb it occurs to me that I must have given up on that series before I got to that story. Definitely intending to tackle that series again someday.

I'm reading the German edition of New Frontier - Stone and Anvil.

Calhoun's and Shelby's experiences back at the Academy are quite interesting...

This one I've read before but am having another read of it.

I started New Earth by Ben Bova a really interesting first Contact story. The story has a real interesting type of an early Star Trek Tos story theme of Space exploration and an interesting alien culture.

Keep in mind that the short story in Shards and Shadows is a MU story that doesn't connect back to the prime universe novels, as far as I know. I haven't read the Stargazer books, but I do know one of them features at least one MU characters, I have no idea if there is a connection between this story and the novel.

Just started making my way through the Strange New Worlds anthologies. I am truly impressed with Dayton Ward's first entry, "Reflections." I can see why he now is one of the regular authors.

So I finished "The Disinherited", a TOS novel written by three authors... I wasn't sure it would work but I actually quite enjoyed it.

Anyone interested in my review can find it here.

My Chronological reading is slow going but I do feel like I am getting there as this is the 70th book since I started 3.5 years ago.

    Thanks!

I just read in "In History's Shadow" by Dayton Ward. If you like the EW books, you should definitely read that one, too.
