OK, but if there's an "evil scheme", a conspiracy (whatever you wanna call it), then it's probably run by powerful people (like Merlin), and there was absolutely nothing in that episode that suggested that Ben Browder's crew was involved in something bigger than straight-up stickup jobs. Oliver himself once said that his mission is curing the disease, not dealing with mere symptoms (like armed robbers).
Thats what I think, too. bowder's character was in there, and he wasn't rich. I liked yesterday's episode.I like seeing Oliver take on crime. The book is interesting, but constantly fighting 1% people (who don't actually fight him, since being rich they don't have fighting skills, they have goons) would get boring. The ending of the episode was great, with Ollie finding out that Spoiler: Arrow his Mom "may" have a connection to the conspiracy. The audience has known since episode 1, now Ollie knows something is up.
It might be my adulation of Susanna Thompson but isn't the most interesting plot line by far Oliver/Moira? And, doesn't Oliver seem too high-maintenance for Laurel? Which makes Tommy/Laurel work very nicely, I think.
Bring on LexCorp! In total Symmetry with Smallcrap... The Queens killed off Lex Luthor's parents. I want more Felicity Smoak. She totally knows that he's the Hood. And it's hilarious that neither of them step past the lies he tells her. "A sports drink additive" HA!
Moira seems to have been born into the criminal enterprise. Perhaps her father was the founder and the senior Queen just marrried the boss's daughter? Has her maiden name been mentioned?
Why would Moria's dad name his company after some bloke he's never met before his daughter is even born?
That might make any sense. So her real name is Talia Al Ghul? Hmm. Deathstroke's origin was that his son was hired by "The Hive" to kill the Titans, who died, and then Deathstroke felt like he was honour bound to complete the contract. Queen Moria Queen?
I'll along with that. What happened during those five years on the island molded Ollie into what he is now. There's a lot we haven't seen yet, a lot of hell that he hasn't endured yet. I'm hope the show continues just so we can find out what else happened to him after making his escape from the river. And what's up with the Chinese Archer? I can't figure out yet what his real game is.
He's the Captain that sponsered Ollie into the Mob? Ollie all but admitted last week that he got off the island (and came back) well before they found him there.
