I definitely wouldn't be surprised. I don't know how many more times I can see him get killed in something before I explode. (Miami, 'The Last Don', 'Love and a .45', 'Right at Your Door', pretty close in 'Black and White', tried to commit suicide in 'A Scanner Darkly' and 'Sunset Strip') Enough already, man. At any rate, glad he's back on television. It's going to be great seeing him again, even if it's probably relatively brief.
Rory Cochrane is going to get Jack Bauer dead in his sights, and then his gun will misfire because he didn't clean it and Jack breaks his neck. Then he'll reappear as a hallucination to the President, caused by her taking too much Ambien and drinking, which makes her to want to nuke Kirplakistan for no apparent reason, thus setting up her inevitable replacement by the VP.
Right before Jack kills him Horatio will shout "Speeeeeeeeeeeeeeed!" I just saw the episode where Speed dies on CSI Miami today. I laughed when Caruso said "Speeeeeeeeeeeeeeed!" as it was so cheesy.
I was flipping through channels and came across one of the CSI:NY/CSI:Miami crossover episodes. Since the two shows are like night and day, Horatio Caine stuck out like a sore thumb on NY.
It is no secret that I love Rory! And 24! So yeah, I'm excited. LOL, I love it!!! It will be hilarious if they have his gun misfire. That caused a lot of hoopla in the CSI fandom. It would be a funny little nod, but 24 is really satirical. Awww, I actually thought that was sad! Horatio was so much better in the early seasons--more human and less this remote, plastic larger-than-life character that he's become in the later seasons of the show.
How dare you mock Horatio Caine! The last laugh... (puts on sunglasse) ...will be mine! YYYEEEAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyone know the reason for why Caruso does the sunglasses thing? Is that his idea or does it come from the writers or directors? It's really just odd.
