Got charged this morning for the regular issues this month. Hopefully we don't see another delay in the subscriber gift (AGT E-D) and I can get a 4 ship shipment next week.

Yeah, all I knew about 50 was that they moved the TOS Enterprise from 69 to there. Well, at least we have a new solid number; and it increases the chances they decide to do models of the big ships like V'Ger and Gotmoo.

It was more like they had three catagories, "definitely", "maybe" and "if we sell enough we'll consider it".

There were about 50-70 solid entries on the list with other provisional ones. But it looks like sales are good enough for them to go ahead with their entire list now.

    The heck is Gotmoo?

Edit: Wait, you mean Gomtuu! Actually, I wouldn't mind a replica of that little seed-lookin' dealie. :)

Exactly this. Both the Eaglemoss and Memory Alpha sites had split up the list into different categories.

I hope they don't squander the opportunity with a bunch of the random ships-of-the-week from Voyager. Although the Assan Racer from "Drive" which is clearly a direct rip of a Cylon Raider (right down to the double pentagon symbol) would be acceptable. :D

Out of curiosity, what would you like to see? It seems like TOS, the Movies, and TNG only used a handful of ships, many of which have already been released or are already in the works.

Had to go back to see exactly what they were doing. These are what I would like to see, based on what they haven't listed:
    ...to name a few.

I could probably do without all the odd DS9 frankenfleet kitbashes, but I would still prefer them to many of the random, and sometimes repetitive, Delta Quadrant flotsam we saw every week. I was always more partial to practical miniatures over CG anyways...

I wouldn't mind those ugly kitbashes. I love the Centaur design and some of those other ships would be interesting "oddities" to collect.

I haven't looked at any of the lists in a while, but where there any Kazon ships being planned?

I agree, the FC, Dominion War and BOBW kitbashes would be on the list, as well as the Daedelus.

That leaves us with this wish list:

-27: Norway Class (To complete the FC ships)
    -28: New Orleans Class
    -29: Freedom Class

-31: Cheyenne Class (to round out the newly created Wolf 369 ships - not counting study models)
    -32 Centaur Class
-33 Curry Class? (The rest of the DS9 models are pretty rough kitbashes with ostentatious paintjobs. I can live without them)

    -35: NX-Alpha
    -36: USS Pasteur Olympic Class
    -37: USS Jenolan Sydney Class

    -47: Type 6 Shuttle?
    -48 Chaffee Shuttle
    -49: Galileo Shuttle
    -50: Enterprise-Intepid
    -51: Enterprise-Warp Delta
    -52: Enterprise-Conestoga
-53: Enterprise - that weird horseshoe shaped one whose name escapes me at 2:11am
    -54: Enterprise- Shuttlepod
    -55: Enterprise- ECS Fortunate/ECS Horizon?
    -56: Soyuz Class
    -57: Saratoga
-58: Alt Nebula class with Sutherland mission pod?
    -59: Vesta Class
    -60: NX-01 Refit.

Right. Thats all the federation/starfleet ships I could think of. Really scraped the barrel there too and got 60 ships out of a possible 90. That leaves 30 Enemy ships, of which we have...

    -01: Klingon Bird of Prey
    -02: Romulan Warbird
    -03: Klingon K'Tinga
    -04: Klingon Vor'cha
    -05: Klingon ENT BOP
    -06: Bajoran Solar Sailor
    -07: Cardassian Galor
    -08: Cardassian Hideki.
    -09: Jem Hadar Attack Cruiser
    -10 Jem Hadar Attack Ship
    -11: Ferengi Marauder
    -12: Borg Sphere
    -13: Borg Cube
    -14: Krenim Temporal Weapon Ship
    -15: Xindi Insectoid Ship
    -16: ENT Tholian Ship
    -17: ENT Romulan BOP
    -18: Maquis Fighter
    -19: Nausicaan Fighter
    -20: Vulcan Surok Class
    -21: Andorian Cruiser
    -22: Romulan Drone
    -23: Romulan Valdore

That leaves us with....7, empty slots for Alien ships? Yeah, I don't think thats gonna happen. Maybe strike 15 out of the wishlist for federation ships then. That could be a plausible list then imo.

I need to go now, my home planet needs me.

    *falls asleep*

I for one would love to see them expand into some special versions of existing subjects-

The Refit from ST3 with self destruct damage
The Reliant after the battle in the Mutara Nebula (missing the nacelle and wrecked pod)
Enterprise D Saucer after making planetfall in Generations
NX-01 from the Xindi Arc showing hull damage
NX-01 from 'E2' showing the alien tech retrofits
Voyager with deployed Armor from 'Endgame'

Just a wish list, doubt any will see the light of day...

To be honest, I'd be disappointed if they released these as part of the standard line. It seems that most companies that get the rights to release model ships end up releasing a handful of ships and then just repaint those to get dozens of releases (Johnny Lightning and Hot Wheels, for example).

IMO, the nice thing about the Eaglemoss collection is that we're getting completely new ships every time. If they wanted to do some repaints/damaged models, I think those would be great candidates for the free subscriber gifts, special releases, or just released at the end of the series.

I was thinking of the damages ones as being special versions, not part of the standard fleet ships, along the lines of the AGT D and DS-9.

Gotcha, I'd agree with that 100% (that's what I was trying to get at in my last paragraph). The battled damage and repaint models, if done right, could be really cool. The JL damaged Enterprise-A, where the model itself was missing pieces, so it was more than just a repaint.

All the examples I came up with would involve reworking the hull to show gaping holes and exposed hardware- the only real exception would be the D Saucer which could be made larger since you would not have to allow room for the stardrive section. The Johnny Lightning repaints were too simplistic- just adding grime does not duplicate the damage. I was looking at my Akira the other day and thinking what Eaglemoss could do with that concept seeing the level of detail they produce.

Another ship- the USS Constellation from 'The Doomsday Machine' (TOS-R version since it looks cooler that the melted model kit used in the original show)

There was talk at somepoint though of the Voyager-with-Endgame-armour, so I imagine that's the most likely of those

Well I've just had issue 26 the tholian ship and its the 1st time I've been disappointed in the model not the best standards this time.

I've noticed that the Starfleet vessels are very detailed and well made but some of the alien ships are not to that standard. Some are good like the Klingon bird of prey the vorcha attack cruiser are really nice but again the Borg vessel and ferengi vessel are not great standards. Some of the Alien ships I've not bothered about buying. The kremin time ship and others. I'm loving the collection but is there anyone out there that haven't bought the Alien ships.???
