Don't get me started on definitely being spelled "defiantly".

Though to and too actually makes understanding some posts difficult and causes me to have to read a sentence 2 or 3 times

"Loose" for "lose," "rouge" for "rogue."

And, getting all Trekkie on you, "Kahn" for "Khan."

If we look at SW writers for example, it's a mixed bag.

One impact I hope it has on Trek is that we get more of the stuff, without again compromising quality, of course.

GR once spoke of the Galaxy being a big place with room for a lot of stories to be told and I agree. It is every bit as big as a galaxy far, far away so why not get on the ball and take more advantage of all those stories left to tell.

That other franchise is going to do that and so should Star Trek. If they continue to mosey along down the highway at such a leisurely pace they are likely to be left far, far behind.

They learned a few lessons since then, assuming their contributions to the latest Bond film were of any significance (Logan as co-writer and Baird as chief film editor). Just sayin'.
