Who should be the Villain in star trek 13.Should it be the Borg Q the Klingon's who would you like to be the villain.
If it's just a "regular" movie, then Redjac on the A plot, T'Pring on the B plot. But if they were to go with something like my 50th Anniversary story idea, then strangely enough, the "villain" would be Spock Prime, and then some of the TNG/DS9/VOY crewpeople from the Prime timeline.
As many as the market will bear. There have been some valid nitpicks with them, but I've enjoyed both of them immensely so far. I DO hope they launch something new for television before long, too, though.
I can't see it being anyone but the Klingons to be honest, and I've got no problem with that. I want to see the Enterprise in action with some D4 battlecruisers!
But, the Whale Probe counted as an antagonist. Which is why I prefer that world for how I describe Spock Prime in the movie idea I was talking about.
The Borg and Q are TNG villains. How about something original? Something that doesn't come out of someone else's version of Star Trek?
No, but these movies do, because that's their nature. The Abrams movies are not science-fiction films, they're action films with a sci-fi backdrop. Once the third movie is done and the box office results are in, then CBS will hopefully decide if the franchise is popular enough for them to commit to a TV series. Only then will we have stories that don't require a villain. But we won't even get to that stage unless the third film is successful, and for that, it will require a bad guy even better than Harrison. That's why the James Bond movies are always huge successes and have lasted so long: because they all adhere to a formula that people are accustomed to, that of good guy Bond battling bad guy du jour. The third Abrams film will be no different.
I don't know, man. After the fuss made over Kirk's eyes being blue instead of hazel and Khan being a pale-skinned Brit instead of a Castilian Sikh with Mughal title for a first name, wouldn't casting M'Ress as a blue-eyed Turkish Angora just be asking for trouble?
