Junior says, "Thanks!" It is surprisingly difficult to get a good picture of him. As soon as a camera is out, he immediately turns his head or quits doing whatever adorable thing of which I was trying to get a picture!
That is the cutest thing, ever! We stepped our game up this year and made our first You Tube video. Well, it started out as me trying out some technical things and then it morphed into a cat video. [yt]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oB75tCp2y2o[/yt]
Okay, firstly, you are adorable. Second, Beverly definitely looked displeased with the interview. I think if you'd gone to 5 minutes, she may have eaten you. Not my video, but really funny. [yt]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nC9GXlYb-ek[/yt]
Hubby ordered a computer for our network and Junior was thrilled to see the box. It was full of those "packing pillows," as hubby calls them. Junior jumped in, popping a few--but it didn't startle him. He just sunk right into it, like it was a kitty-waterbed or something. He's still there.
^True. It must've felt like a kitty-size air mattress to him. Normally, when we order something, it's a smaller box, so he crams himself into it, spilling over the sides like a hairy popover.
It's so funny to see pictures like that. My cat has never even shown the slightest interest in boxes.
My Spot - may she RIP. She loved the boxes though, long description behind this particular box, but she was named after Data's cat(s) and a proclivity for leaving 'spots' on my bed when she was a kitten.
Miracle cat gets shot repeatedly and lives: http://www.myfoxny.com/story/28023018/cat-shot-2-dozen-times Some extra lives shoved into those original nine. By the way, there's also a documentary being made called "Nine Lives: Cats in Istanbul", about the -- as I recall -- nine million cats that roam there and the history as seen through their eyes and the people who care for them. Supposed to be out later this year.
Three years later, you think I'd be over it. I'm not, she was awesome and I admit I memorailize her whenever possible. New grey cat's name is Speck, combining Spot and Spock and his general appearance. Alternatively, Little ****er.
^It's been over 5 years since I lost my cat Max, and I still get teary-eyed over it. They're part of the family, so it's hard to lose them. Speck, that's a great name! And, yes, most pets are probably called the alternate name at least once.
It's a little under a year since our Holly passed away. Still miss her like crazy. If any good came from it it was that the cat shaped hole in my life could be filled by another rescue cat in need of a home; Lily (or Lilypad):
