Yeah, I'm trying to get my nephew into Star Trek. At least both my niece and nephew like Futurama, so that's a start.

I am gonna try with music of the show first. The parents are seriously strict about TV and the kids learning so no TV :-(

I gotta get her to be trekkie thru other means! So when she finally sits down to watch an episode she's a fan already!

Imagine if you only allowed your kids to watch Star Trek. That would be an interesting way to regulate tv.

But what about educational programming? And i don't mean shows that just teach you how to read, and all that jazz, but i also consider shows that are heavy with pop culture like The Simpsons ,Futurama, and Star Trek as educational, because, kids should know about the prevailing pop culture.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it ...

Mind you, I grew up watching The Simpsons and Married ... with Children.

Can I get a "Whoa, Bundy!"?

Whoa, Bundy! I was talking mostly about reality TV, you know that scripted BS like Jersy Shore and Big Brother, the crap on during the summer. Nothing wrong with the Simpsons or Futurama or Tek. ;)

Hello Everyone! I was trying to find photos I could post, but it seems almost all of my photos on the computer are of me and Hubby...and hubby really does not want me to post pics of him online! So here I am in 2010 at my first convention:
