    Anyone else see this commercial?

It has two scenes of Sinclair using his communicator. I was cheering when I saw they included Babylon 5 with clips from Star Trek, Knight Rider, Inspector Gadget, Predator, Get Smart, etc. It shows that B5 is still in the zeitgeist!

Great to see...and yet the sad, anal retentive nerd in me can't help but point out that the Predator's wrist gadget was a nuke, not a radio. :p

I saw it again today. I was eating lunch with my kids at a pizza shop and looked up just as they showed Sinclair. I love seeing Babylon 5 on TV, even if it's only as a part of a commercial!

There were Rangers today at New York Comic-Con, handing out #FreeBabylon5 buttons. A short report from Ranger George:
Ranger George and Ranger Tara will be handing out buttons again tomorrow at JMS' spotlight panel. You can recognize them from their costumes (Earthforce officer and Ranger).

Also, yesterday those who are signed up for the B5 books emails got a note with the links to the two polls listed upthread. At the moment, B5 is #1 in the 'favorite 23rd century' poll and a solid #2 behind Breaking Bad for 'favorite final episode'.

Glad to see this effort to bring B5 back to tv and streaming. I was pretty bummed when it went off of Netflix. Really hope that they put it back on there.

When first talking about getting Babylon 5 back on the air in reruns, JMS said that fans need to 'get loud and get organized' and so the #FreeBabylon5 campaign was born. Here's great opportunity to get loud!

Nominations are open for the People's Choice Awards and one category is 'FAVORITE SERIES WE MISS MOST'. Let's get Babylon 5 on the ballot by writing in Babylon 5 and voting *many* times and getting all of our friends, family, acquaintances, co-workers and random people on the street to vote, too!

    From the site:
VOTE! Many times *per day*, every single day! US and International! Let's get LOUD and #FreeBabylon5!!

Ranger Phil let us in on this on FB over the weekend but JMS just posted the official announcement and #FreeBabylon5 gets credit for B5 being picked up by the Watch channel in the UK! :D

Click here for the rest of the article (and ignore the major inaccuracy):

Well that's just damn strange, the trailer they've made actually uses the hashtag. Hell, the whole thing is about the campaign! I think we have a fan working at Watch.

Really? That's excellent! Somebody from their FB page posted a couple of times this morning on the FreeBabylon5 Facebook page. Sadly, I'm on the wrong side of the pond to see it. :-(

The site is region locked? And here I thought that only happened going the other way. I'm sure there's a way to see it state side through a proxy server or some such.

We also appear to be getting some coverage on Digital Spy.

Glad to see progress on this, wish the trailer weren't region locked.

Episode 1 will be shown on Watch on Nov 4th at 5pm (repeated midnight and 9am). Starting with "Midnight on the Firing Line", a new episode will be shown every weekday. It appears from the publicity stills that Watch will be broadcasting the widescreen version. They say that they'll also be airing the TV movies, although they haven't begun with "The Gathering".
