how about differnt sombreros on the different sections designating that different ships go to the different sections..

 

That's easy... just change the color of the band on the central towers of each of the pods.

 

All the ships around the station need sombreros too!

They're hard to see but I put them in.

 

Even the STARS need sombreros.
