    And there goes the last of the Dahar Masters.

    Day of the Dove certainly isn't among my list of favourite episodes, but Michael Ansara's performance as Kang sure is the highlight of that episode. He's so stern and direct in a way which doesn't invite argument. As a character, Kang was awesome, and as an actor Ansara was equally as awesome. RIP.

    I tend to think that Michael Ansara's portrayal of Kang presented the image of the noble warrior that we now see in Klingons. A few actors that played Klingons, including Michael Dorn as Worf, and JG Hertzler as Martok patterned alot of their performance from Ansara, from what I understand. He will definitely be missed.
