I have been watching Elementry and really digging it. I know some of the basic tenants from watching the different incarnation, movies and tv shows. However there is something about the show Elementry that has really caused me to be interested in the source material, I have never ready any Sherlock Holmes. So a few weeks ago I downloaded "A Study in Scarlet" and its in the que, so to speak. I'm really looking forward to my first read.

I love the character. I've read all the stories at least twice. I've also read Nicholas Meyer's books and a few others. Jeremy Brett's Holmes series is amazing, as is the Soviet adaptation with Vasily Livanov.
