Beautiful artwork. I have some art wallpapers with sailing ships, all of them done "at night", so they're very bluish.

 

If only the Ice Pirates had ships like these...

I still hold that movie up to my kids as a classic B movie gone bad. Not quite the level of Flash Gordon (which took itself seriously), though.

Strangely enough, you can't find it on DVD (at least I haven't found it - although I REALLY haven't looked very hard ).

Actually reminds me a bit of Treasure Planet.

 

One likes what one likes It was a fun movie no matter how cheesy.

Plus I had a major thing for Mary Crosby.

I have some DVD's & blu-rays that are much worse than Ice Pirates.

 

Not saying it's the worst movie ever. It was just...different. I enjoyed it for what it was.

 

Never saw TP, looked neat visually anyhow...
