How is Janeway sexy?

Damn. I thought you were talking about my post, but I was further back. I had some good pics, I think.

 

I'll go have a look mairbeariepie. I did not read the whole thread and Admiral Shran's pics caught my eye.

Oh right! Excuse me, I think I bleeped over the non-Voy pic! Yes those are lovely. What an incredibly photogenic woman. It's not hard to find good pics, might post a few myself..

 

Lol! I did start off with one non-Voy pic. But ones a production photo and the other a still I think the three define why she's my girl crush. I think my hubby's gets jealous of how much I watch Voyager. Not my fault, he works 48 hour shifts.

And it made me think that another thing sexy about Janeway was that though she held herself back ultimately from relationships she teetered and toyed with the idea. You KNOW she wants to be in a relationship some day but the duties of command must always come first. Compare this to Picard who had one fling in 7 years. It's like that secret side of Janeway, which I'm sure Picard had, is visible to us the viewers and that IMHO makes her sexy.

 

Can someone please post some screencaps of her from Eye of the Needle and Resistance?

It's-all-gone-wrong Janeway

 

I never thought Janeway was all that and was bleh more often than not, but I loved how they had her done up for Bride of Chaotica. She looked damn good in that ep

 

^IMO, the people responsible for the inking, coloring, and pencils in those earlier VOY comics needed to be kicked in the shins. The way they handled the characters with those loose lines was muddy and muddled more often than not. And the characters stood in the weirdest positions! Didn't those artists ever hear of "center of gravity?!" And the shading was horrible. It looked like I did it, and I'm terrible.

The only saving grace is that several of the later Wildstorm VOY comics, while much cleaner, were all drawn almost exactly from screenshots. The characters wouldn't even open their damn mouths. (TNG Wildstorm comics had this problem as well. I assume the likenesses had to be approved or something.)

Okay, rant over, carry on.

 

With their limbs in bizarre positions, too. I can't remember where I saw it now, but just recently I saw one of Janeway in which she had clearly suffered an injury resulting in her hip joints being relocated outside her pelvis.

 

LOL. I wonder if that's in one of the books I have.

Sounds painful. But yes, their limbs were all over the place!

 

I managed to use the words "Janeway", "hip", and "pelvis" in one sentence without making any dirty jokes. I shall give myself a small treat for my good behavior.
