Never really knew who he was until I wiki'd him. Looks like something I'd be interested in. What makes you ask? Thanks for the welcomes, by the way. ^_^ By the way, love these smilies. This place totally needs a Ferengi one going $_$. XD
Welcome Adama! If you ever get the urge to watch DS9 the way it's supposed to be watched (end-to-end) give me a holler, will ya'?!??! It's been ages since I watched it and I really would like to watch it with someone! And... it is a GREAT Trek story....
Because of this: http://www.electricstory.com/reviews/crimea.aspx?title=new/cry_me_a_1 He's a favourite author of mine, but not very well known, which is a shame. (Note: the two stories he refers to in that first column, his and Willis's are simply splendid. You should try and find them)
It's always this way...really. I know I'm biased but TOS always seals the deal or turns people on to the whole thingamajig. I'm not sure if I've mentioned this today but I love Star Trek The Original Series.
TOS is unforgettably good, I agree, but are we talking TOS or are we talking TOS Remastered? -that, is the question!
Hello guys... I'm not the forum goer I used to be. I forgot how awkward it can be joining a new board. But I'm a burgeoning fan of ST and I'm looking forward to familiarizing with this community!
Ah. ^_^ Well, I'll look into it. I actually got the name from a nation on a game called Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn called Crimea - I know it was named after a real world nation that existed at some point - and River, because it sounds like, "Cry me a river." Everyone loved that name on the site I changed it on, so it stuck. :P I'm alright with TOS. It was the first series I started watching after getting back into Star Trek. Welcome, WickedSquid, as well. ^_^
Greetings! I'm a human female of 18 Earth years and you may call me Oryx, as it's far more exciting than my birth name. I've always seemed to have one foot in the door of Star Trek fandom, but only recently have I deemed myself ready to become fully immersed in it. Upon graduating high school, I moved away from the parental units and began renting a room from two devoted Trekkies. Through their guidance (*ahem* their DVD collection), I've discovered two important facts about myself: 1. I'm absolutely enamored of Worf. 2. The Trek universe is my new home, baby! So here I am. Have mercy?
Welcome to the board, Oryx! I hope you enjoy your stay. Always nice to see some more young fans around here -- it's a pleasant reminder that Star Trek continues to have a cross-generational appeal. Never!
Welcome! You know, I think I've seen your phone number somewhere... I couldn't wish for a better place to live myself Welcome!
Hello everyone! I am new, obviously. My name is Caitlan and I am 18 years old and am from Florida, US. I have been a devout trek fan since I was eleven years old when I saw my first episode, "The Menagerie" and I have been hooked ever since. TOS is dearest to my heart, though I do enjoy all the other series as well. I probaly don't have to tell you who my favorite character is.... the beautiful Mr. Spock. That's Nimoy, not Quinto. Leonard will always be the one, true Spock for me, and I look forward to posting and becoming familiar with this community.
