And the Sky Full of Stars was the first episode I realized there was way more to the Series then meets the eye. I don't remember anything in it, that relates to that line though. I think it's not until War Without End you find out what those words mean. If it was in English, yea, it would be easy enough to remember, but, since it's in Minbari, not so much a problem, methinks

If it's the spoiler I'm thinking of, one reason why you might not remember from seeing the original is because that one word *wasn't* in the original cut - it was added during the re-edit done when the show moved to TNT. But reall, if you were watching it for the first time, it really wouldn't have been a spoiler.

Hey guys ... I was just thinking ... if you could have a B5 character meet a DS9 character ... well what characters would you have meet up to compare notes?

Yeah, I think we went over that in TheGodBen's review thread, it would go something like this:

    Heh.

I'd like Londo and Dukat to meet. They seemed to be on opposite trajectories. Dukat starts out pretty "evil" but kind of has a redemption arc, only to take a downward spiral to eventually become almost Satanic. Londo starts out friendly and boisterious, more of a comic relief character, gets much darker, and eventually becomes an almost tragic ... when, maybe not hero, but certainly not a bad guy.

I dunno, I suppose in a way though Dukat could be more like Cartagia ...

Oooh, yea, Dukhat and Cartagia could be a blast. Imagine Dukhat's approving look while watching Cartagia rinsing the blood off his hands

Vir and Damar coming from Opposite ends of the spectrum, but, ending up in the same place.

Oh, and imagine the verbal smackdown Delenn could give Kai Winn

I always thought Vir and Rom were very similar. They both started out as buffoonish characters who seemed atypical of their species and they both wound up the leaders of their respective people. Vir had to go through a lot darker stuff, though.

    Now, who would Kosh meet?

All it would take is a look....

Marcus and Bashir have some similarities, I bet they would become instant rivals.

Hmm ... somehow I'd rather see Bashir and Franklin comparing notes ... I know, I know, just because they're both doctors, doesn't mean they're similar ... but I just have this image in my head of Franklin explaining Centauri anatomy to Bashir:

    Bashir: They have six?! :wtf:

And for some reason I would really love Kosh to just stroll up and something really cryptic to Sisko ... or anyone really.

    Garak.

Kosh should stroll up and say something really cryptic to Garak.

In fact, I demand a Garak/Kosh crossover episode.

KOSH: "Understanding is a three-edged sword."
GARAK: "Delightful phrase. What precisely does it mean, good sir?"
    KOSH: "Yes."

    BASHIR: "Even the lies?"
    GARAK: "Especially the lies."
KOSH: "Then the willows must scuttle carefully."
BASHIR: "Suddenly, Garak, you make a lot of sense."

GARAK: "All this so-called democracy... frankly, Kosh, it offends my senses."
KOSH: "The avalanche has already started. It is too late for the pebbles to vote."
GARAK: "Exactly! Exactly. With the Dominion looming over our heads, there's no time for such... idle fancies."
KOSH: "They are alone. They are a dying people. We should let them pass."
GARAK: "Who? The Federation or the Dominion?"
    KOSH: "Yes."
QUARK: "I really hate it when he does that."

^ Yeah see, all I could think of was:
    *Kosh glides up to Sisko*

Kosh: You have always been here.
*Kosh glides away. Sisko raises his eyebrows at Sheridan.*
Sheridan: *shrugs* Yeah ... he does that.

Come to think of it, Sisko and Sheridan should meet ... or certainly Sisko and Sinclair:

Sinclair: So ... you're basically Bajoran Jesus, then?
    Sisko: Yeah, pretty much.
Sinclair: Hmm. I'm Minbari Jesus myself.
Sisko: Cool. *they shake hands* *Long pause*
Sinclair: Sooo ... you wanna talk socks?
Sisko: I'm beginning to see why they replaced you.

    Hahaha.

Imagine if Kosh were in the wormhole in the pilot episode of DS9, forced to explain linear time to the Prophets. I think that would be the most confusing, convoluted, longwinded and ultimately, seemingly completely aimless script a writer would ever be tasked with.

Londo was definitely a tragic character and he knows full well what he's done, and had no illusions about what he deserved in regards to that. He lucked out and was able to escape his due for awhile, but in the end.....

At any rate, I think Londo and Garak would've been entertaining to watch in conversation. They were probably the most fun to watch.....Garak with his cryptic wording, Londo with his comedic wit.....the conversation might not be long, but it'd be classic, that's for sure.

    Is that a challenge?

Oh what the hell, I'll give it a go:

Kosh: You do not understand, but you will.
    Prophets: Will?
    Kosh: In the future.
    Prophets: Future?
    KosH: Yes.
    Propehts: But you exist here.
Kosh: Yes. I have always been here.
Prophets: Always ... never ... these have no meaning to us.
Kosh: You are a closed circle. You are returning to the beginning.
    Prophets: Beginning?
    Kosh: .....You do not understand.
    Propehts: No, we don't.

*Approximately five billion years later ... or yesterday.*

*Kosh exits the wormhole, muttering what sounds suspiciously like a string of Vorlon expletives. He fetches Sisko from the station and brings him back into the wormhole with him.*

    Sisko: Why am I here?
    Kosh: You have always -
Sisko: Oh don't give me that crap. You couldn't figure out how to explain linear time to them, could you?
    Kosh: Impudent!
    Sisko: Up yours!
