    Wrong

    Wrong

    Easy doesn't equal correct.

There are plenty of websites that show lesbian porn too.

Look harder. at facts. also, the bible doesn't contain facts.

it isn't. it was all gloriously random.

god created snakes. it's his fault.

also, don't you think not being able to eat from the tree of knowledge shows god likes his followers uneducated?

yeah you could find some actual science on there instead!

it's a copious hole in the internet

    in fact there isn't.

    no. making shit up there.

He's getting that evidence right now, I just know it. Then again, he may be putting on lipstick, and dancing with the dog to candlelight. I can't really say, because this is an emotions issue, not a facts based one.

This is complete and utter nonsense.

The science behind evolution is staggering in both breadth and depth. Its acceptance, its assumption, underlies nearly every natural science.

As for scientists "abandoning" evolution, that is preposterous. I can name 1275 scientists, just named Steve, who agree:

"Evolution is a vital, well-supported, unifying principle of the biological sciences, and the scientific evidence is overwhelmingly in favor of the idea that all living things share a common ancestry. Although there are legitimate debates about the patterns and processes of evolution, there is no serious scientific doubt that evolution occurred or that natural selection is a major mechanism in its occurrence. It is scientifically inappropriate and pedagogically irresponsible for creationist pseudoscience, including but not limited to "intelligent design," to be introduced into the science curricula of our nation's public schools."

Young Earth creationism is as scientifically valid as the Flat Earth theory.

There's no dialogue possible between creationists like McBain and rational people. It's sad and funny.

If evolution is "unscientific", then what is scientific? The entire field of biology relies on the theory of evolution in the same way that all of geology relies on the theory of plate tectonics. If the Earth is not 4.5 billion years old and evolution is "unscientific", then what exactly is modern scientific progress relying on? How did we get this far in understanding the universe if we're resting on an unscientific foundation? It's ridiculous to think biology and geology are completely wrong without accepting that every other field is wrong too. Physics would have to be completely wrong for us to have made such fundamental mistakes about the age of the earth and the evolution of life. And physics is not wrong - it works, and there's no denying that without denying reality itself.

Did you know doctors don't actually know anything about medicine. they're all wizards that channel jesus whenever they're called on to diagnose illnesses and then they just pray away broken bones and cancer ;)

I don't believe in God, so I'm perfectly happy to I enjoy my life without any kind of religion. People like McBain condemn me to hell for that, but I'll take my chance and stay true to myself.

Sometimes I just wish people who don't believe in science would courteously do the same, and enjoy their life without any kind of scientific and technological aid.

I mean, that would be only fair, no? Beside, they will have their eternal reward in heaven, so they should be perfectly happy to die of dysentery in the back of a cold, dark cave.

I want pentecostal faith healers to perform surgeries. Why go to a heathen Doctor who practices the religion of science, when you can go right to the source of all that holy healing power?!

What amazes is all those people who diss science by typing on devices that came into being because of science.

If the Earth was only a few thousand years old there would be no plastics.

I'll give you the quick rundown:

    * Man can create technology, because God gave him that gift of knowledge.

    * God works through men, which is why prayer and God saved you, and not the surgeon who spent five hours holding your heart together. After all, he was only an instrument of the hand of God. If you died, though, that was God's Will.

Yeah, I asked that to a couple of random acquaintances who did the "I don't believe in science" dance. They didn't even understand the question. Easy to say, they didn't stay acquaintances for long.

I guess they believe that God put all the oil into place at the time of creation thus giving man the resources to power cars and make plastics?

God created everything humanity would ever need. That's why we'll never run out of oil, because this is the land of plenty.

I do know people who believe this.

You see, those people didn't believe in God, so that when God's Peopleā„¢ came to claim what God said was theirs, they had to do a little cleaning out. God was okay with this, since those people were never going to believe in God anyway, so they weren't really people! See how easy that was?

    ;)

Hey, if G-d really did create the universe in 6 days 6000 years ago, but with the appearance of a universe billions of years old, who are we to argue with him?

Exactly! Just accept it because it's an unfounded assertion. Critical thinking is just another doorway for the devil's lies.

Not to mention, the conversations are much more interesting downstairs.

I hope they appreciate old Nick's handiwork and attention to details, at least.
