did you play the first Horizon? I didn't, and I was generally kind of snobbish-ly sceptical because it's a bit on the Arcade-y side (and I'm coming from Gran Turismo and more recently the earlier regular Forza games) - I was blown away by how much I loved FH2, by now it's my favorite driving game ever. It's basically relaxing car porn, the driving is extremely fun and it gives me great holiday vibes due to the setting - I don't think I can go back to regular Forza at this point, even skipped F6 (first one I skipped since the first one).
^^Yeah i picked up the first recently, i will also have to play that before i move to the second. Too many games. lol
Picked up the Disney Infinity 2.0 "toy box" starter kit last month. Added the game disc for 1.0 a couple of weeks ago, dude at GameStop said it would work with the 2.0 figure pad. My nephew is askin' me to get the one to play Star Wars with, maybe next time it's on sale. Played the DLCs for Black Panther & Doctor Strange on Lego Marvel's Avengers, too, since they've been released recently. Still waitin' on the one for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
I just finished Uncharted 4. While it was the best made of all four games, I think I was suffering from franchise fatigue. Probably the same reason I dropped sports games and Call of Duty.
Disney just announced they're discontinuing the Infinity franchise, so expect clearance sales in the future. The TFA playset for Infinity 3.0 is fun, albeit a bit on the shallow side in terms of content. Kids should enjoy it though.
Yeah, I saw that in the news the other day. They have a couple of more characters or sets, including one for Finding Dory, coming out, and then that's it for Disney Infinity.
Finished Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright yesterday and was going to start on the Conquest path, but I think I'll hold off for a bit and play something else for a while first.
Speakin' of Disney Infinity, I saw this mornin' that Wal-Mart dropped the price of all their 3.0 figures to $11.99 each, $3.00 off the regular price. May clean up next payday, since I gotta road trip later this week. In the meantime, I picked up Captain America in a display case for $9.99 at GameStop for my 2.0 set.
I've been playing Suikoden II on my PS3. Its pretty good so far, with an entertaining story and good mechanics. It can be a bit frustrating to figure out where to go sometimes (like in a lot of JRPGs of the era), but besides that I'm enjoying myself a lot.
Finally picked up Mad Max... Fun game, nice mechanics... The map is not as big as people implied it was...
60 Seconds, the grab and stuff your bunker nuclear apocalypse game. It's addictive. I keep killing my family off, though. It's hard to gather supplies in 60 seconds!
I've been thinking about picking it up, but I hadn't seen or read any reviews on it. I'm on Chapter 8 of Uncharted 4 right now. The game looks absolutely amazing on my 4K tv. It's a little more talky and slow than the first three games (and I'm still not sure if I like Sam or not) but I hear it gets more action packed pretty soon.
