Yes, I know you didn't spoil anything and I appreciate that you were being circumspect, which is why I attempted to head off a the discussion before it came to spoilers. After all, you can hardly have a discussion about a leaked ending without getting into spoiler territory sooner or later. Even what you're doing right there by talking about the new citadel side-missions is courting a spoiler discussion, no? If you want to talk about it then by all means do so, but I think it would be best if you (or someone else?) started a ME3 spoiler thread, but let's keep this one "safe" for the unwary visitor, shall we? In other news, the launch trailer is up! [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bG2mdZ23eP8[/yt]
I'm resisting the urge to watch it a second time for fear of noticing details...if that makes any sense.
It makes sense, I've watched it a couple of times, not noticing much in the way of details, just loving the trailer!
One thing I spotted: Spoiler: not actually a spoiler, just hiding a large image I think my house may be on fire... (Note if you can't tell: that's the British Isles aflame there.)
Epic trailer is epic. My plan is to move to New Jersey before the Reapers invade. Even they don't want anything to do with New Jersey.
Holy God Damn! Regardless of whether or not you like Mass Effect, or any video games for that matter. If you don't consider that the greatest trailer to a game or pretty much anything ever made, then you have no soul!
More news from ANN. This pretty much confirms that the reapers hit Batarian space first. At least now we know where they got all their husks from. On the other hand, the Exodus cluster (ironic name much?) is where Eden Prime and Terra Nova are located, so maybe those worlds get hit on the way to Arcturus and Sol too.
cinematics the world of cinematics with Mass Effect 3 Lead Cinematic Animator, Parrish Ley. fast forward to 1:46 Mass Effect 3 | Mass Effect Cinematics a 2 minute cool video as to the process the ME3 cinematics are done before VFX. it has a sneak peak at some cinematics not in the trailer.
Yeah, and if you haven't played the first two games yet; why the hell not!? Get out of here and come back when you have at least three Shepards!!!
If you haven't played any of the games yet, and you have a computer that's capable of running ME3 well, then I'd say go with the PC version. But I'd echo the sentiments of OdoWanKenobi and Reverend: if you haven't played the first two games, you should really do so before you play ME3. You'll be missing out on a lot of stuff (not to mention two great games) if you start with ME3.
Apparently the ending has been leaked and many of the Bioware/ME boards are in a uproar.. have any of you guys heard anything? Is there anything we should be concerned about?
I haven't heard anything, and i don't want to. It has been agreed to keep spoilers out of this thread.
