0:00 to 2:36--The "feel" of the music invokes nighttime in an Oriental (India?) setting. Perhaps an "establishing shot" of the locale Bond has just entered? 2:37 to 3:56--Shades of John Barry, for a "quiet" moment. A romance scene, perhaps? (The title is "Severine"--therefore...) 3:57 to end--Sounds like the build-up to an epic confrontation with the villain. Perhaps the sequence where we see the villain's evil plan being implimented.
I'm unsure of where the first track fits in. It's been claimed that it could be used when: Spoiler: Bond Bond enters the new MI6 headquarters. Hence the term "New Digs."
Already heard the new bond theme almost a dozen times now, it's being played on the Instore radio. I think I might tire of it before the new film comes out in a fortnight's time.
If ever someone was born to sing a Bond theme besides Shirley Bassey, it's Adele. Saw the 2 m in trailer yesterday, wow, looking forward to this now!
First reviews are in, and all raves! http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-e...-night-skyfall--craigs-best-bond-8209843.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbi...all-review-James-Bond-hes-dangerous-ever.html http://www.guardian.co.uk/film/2012/oct/13/skyfall-james-bond-first-look-review?newsfeed=true (Well, this one's less raving but still mostly high praise) http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/film/filmreviews/9604571/Skyfall-James-Bond-review.html But still no word on whether the gunbarrel is back at the start!
^^^No gunbarrel....(Drop's to his knees, grabs his Tanto blade and awaits confirmation of no gun barrel). Thought i would get that out of the way. I am so looking forward to this Bond, just going though a Bond movie feast at the moment in build up to Skyfall....just watched QoS as a matter of fact and you know what, i did enjoy it...not a bad story in fact.
New clip: "Take the shot" http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/skyfall-2012/trailers/skyfall-clip-take-the-shot-30853288.html
In one of the video blogs, Mendes is seen directing Craig on the new gun barrel. It will be slower than QOS's gunbarrel.
Ner article here with interview of Daniel Craig, saying the script is "dense, adult and humorous" plus more... http://www.castanet.net/edition/news-story-81907-8-.htm#81907
Gosh I want this to be real... but it likely isn't: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDiZOnzajNU&feature=player_embedded#!
