Instead of a pun, I'll tell you that it was raining around our parts, and I sure was glad I had my pocket umbrella. So I get on the train, sit down, put my wet umbrella down on the floor, take a book out of my backpack and start reading, all the while listening to music via my earphones. Once I arrived at my station, I put the book back into the backpack and reach underneath me to pick up my umbrella, only to find it was gone. Someone stole my umbrella! And not like "I found this umbrella someone forgot", they stole it basically from under my nose. They had to have bee sitting on the seats behind me and reached underneath mine to pull it back. So, basically, fuck whoever stole my umbrella. And I voted.
It was sure a close one! I've got a theme sort of in mind... will post a new contest later today, hopefully.
Thanks, guys. I'm mentally flipping a coin over which two ideas I've got for the next contest. The coin is taking its time about landing, though. We really need a master list of already-used themes.
Good idea. I wonder if it would be possible to compile a complete list at this point; the oldest ones have probably been purged. But, on the other hand, if they're that old and we've forgotten them, there's no harm in repeating them.
I did try to make a list some time back, but it's gone (it was handwritten on a piece of paper and got tossed in the recycling). Anyway, The new contest, Let It Snow!, is now posted and ready for entries.

Thank you, Locutus. Would it be okay if we had a master list stickied in Miscellaneous and when each new contest is over, the host can add to it? It would be a huge help for people who want to try something new. I don't mind compiling it.
I'd rather not have another sticky thread, as it makes the front page of the forum cluttered and pushes active threads down. But if the intention is to update it with each new contest anyway, then we can just post it in each new contest thread. If necessary, I can edit the link into the OP of each thread or whatever we decide.
