Beautiful as always. I often wonder what you do with these fabulous models once you complete them. You must have one hell of a cool room someplace!

    Nice work :techman:
But your G/F does not look to enthused in this picture.
Hope you treated her to a great dinner once you were done.

^ Being a husband with 24 years experience in the game, that look says "You are so buying me a new pair of shoes for this!"

I get the impression that REL doesn't like it when we talk about his girlfriend. Since he'll stop posting pictures of her -- er, I mean pictures of his amazing models (the plastic kind) if we annoy him, maybe we should stop.

I'm not sure if this has been asked yet, but are you making these models for your own enjoyment or are these commissions? Or are you planning on re-shooting all of DS9's VFX in HD? :p

Especially since, from what I gathered on another BBS where these and other such model pics were posted, I believe this may be his daughter. So yes, we should stop.

P.S. - Beautiful and professional work as usual, Rel. Top-shelf product. So far there is nothing you have built that I haven't completely enjoyed.

    Wow.

    WOW.

I've always pictured REL as a young prodigy. This guy in his twenties who had unnatural patience and talent. I can't think of a single reason why I had that impression, but suddenly he makes so much more sense now with the realization he's just another of us old fogies with not just patience and talent, but tons of experience.

REL, please accept my apologies for being such a goon and extend them also to young Miss REL. Sheeez, I haven't felt this bad since that time I hurt Professor Moriarity's feelings.

    Beautiful work, REL!

I'd be interested in learning how the pieces are made, and about the other steps the precede the steps first shown in the photos, if anyone can help in that respect.

Ditto for the painting, both of the panels and the markings.

    Thanks for sharing!
