It looks alright. It's a reasonable premise for a sci-fi action movie and, although I love Alien, I tend to be leery of the infinite number of 'grim horror spaceship' movies it's inspired... but I could definitely see this working.
Is this a fanfilm? Looks quite bad. Storyline sounds like a mix between Space - Above and Beyond and Verhoeven's Starship Troopers. edit Not that fanfilms are bad. You know. Ah, nevermind.
This looks quite good for a trailer obviously put together on a shoestring. As I think Ebert has argued, it helps to judge projects while taking into account the resources, intent and target audience. "Fan films" themselves come in for both a great deal of praise and a great deal of derision, both appropriate and otherwise.
