Love the texturing. That stainless steel look is very effective in being "alien". Oh wow...(sorry I'm on dialup and the green version is - just - starting - to - load...) that is just badassed. Awsome. Now, for a completely different project, you might conjecture Eric Bana's ship in the forthcoming movie...let's see some big honkin' hooded nacelles with fins. :)
    I'm kidding:)

    Seriously, great work here.
I'd like to see your take on the Klingon D-7.

First of all, thanks for the kind comment :)
And, you know what? I might actually do a D-7 ;)

Looks really good... though I'm not really sold on the green bussards.

If >I< were doing this, or working with your model... I'd probably do a version where the hull colors contrasts were dialed down a bit (I've found that the more subtle the panel variations, the greater the sense of perceived scale), and, as mentioned above, the bird more into the reds and away from the oranges range. But that's just a personal style thing... it's your project, just tossing my own 2cents in.

Well, that being a game model for ST:BC, I can only as sublte as I am or it would not be recognizable anymore ;)

    Nice!

Looks like it might be a nice model to see used by ADB for a future Fed Commander or SFB module...

I'd be interested to see the unwrapped texture. Any chance of posting it for us?
