I could use some help from some music enthusiasts. I edit videos as a hobby. Splashing things together as a tribute, musical, or just to entertain.

I'm looking for music that sounds like the music below. Something with guitar (hard or soft rock), heavy percussion, with a little techno and/or orchestrated/classical suggestion (strings, horns, opera, etc.). I've tried online services (the free ones) and they aren't giving me what I'm looking for (namely video game music).

These songs are good but I'm trying to stay PG13.

Hard to know, bbjeg, without having insight into your project. But based on your description, this came to mind:

Don't be deceived by the beginning...there's some really quite beautiful passages in this.

I was trying not to disclose it, to keep it as a surprise. I'll say it's a tribute to a modern blockbuster.

YouTube hasn't had any problems with the videos I've uploaded so far. The music is probably edited enough so no one can claim I'm giving away music or anything like that, plus, I always give credit when it's due.

I've seen that anything from UMG (Universal Music Group) gets pegged on youtube pretty quickly.

Skimmed through it but I'm not looking for lyrics. The more instrumental, the better.

This is what I wanted the music for:

It's a tribute to Phase 1 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I am making a Phase 2 but not in a rush to complete it until Avengers: Age of Ultron is on DVD though I am open for songs to add to it.

That's not how copyright works, or works on Youtube. Sometimes it's quickly, somtimes it can take a year or more, but eventually they match what you have (if it's submitted to them for such purproses) and they notify you of third party copyright infrignment. Sometimes it stands that way, other times your channel can simply be deleted with too many infringments (your account will show your standing), and others they simply block the video world wide.

Even just ten seconds is enough to get you caught. Even putting it in reverse won't work. Even flipping channels doesn't do it (I tried to help a composer get his music up for promotiona purproses, and nothing worked).

And then the copyright holders may submit a claim to Youtube in which case so many submissions against you (I don't think the exact number, if there is one aside from one) that Youtube terminates your channel.

^Even if everything is cited? I've been using random music in videos for a over a decade without any issues (luckily). Well, nothing apart from being banned in certain countries, but nothing was pulled yet.

Rick Wakeman. Have a look through some of his stuff, especially 'Six Wives of Henry VIII'.

After watching Age of Ultron, I decided to go ahead with making part two to my Rock Electronca tribue (link in signature). Even though the new Avengers movie isn't on DVD yet, I honestly think I could piece together a decent tribute just by using the trailers and released clips.

I'm currently looking for songs. I changed the title of this video's name to Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase One Rock Electronica (and adding "Rock" is noticeably earning me more views per day so far). I'm sticking with the Rock Electronica theme and any suggestions will be appreciated and special thanked on the YouTube page. I already made up my mind and using the Theme from Hot Fuzz by David Arnold to showcase the first episode of AoS.
