I was unprepared for the art in All New X-men.

It really jiggers the tone of the book.

For Avengers, I think they could have accomplished this in 6 issues instead of 17.

The art for this issue of All New X-Men made the O5 actually look like teenagers! They were adorable :p

How old is Rachel Grey supposed to be? In the preview pages for this latest ANXM she looks about the same age as teen Jean, but the first few Wolverine and the X-Men issues she appeared to be an adult.

She was "adult" in Excalibur when Kitty was 15.

    Manga.

    It's a peedo-vision filter for comicbooks.

Rachel is in her twenties most likely.

After you've been locked in a kennel, and forced to run about on all fours hunting your own kind to extinction... You're not really a child anymore.

(Maybe Claremont, doesn't need any help being a perv?)

I was planning on bailing on Guardians of the Galaxy after issue #5, but Bendis snagging Kevin Maguire after the Justice League 3000 debacle is forcing me to reconsider. If I stuck with Worlds' Finest because of Maguire's artwork, I can suffer through Bendis. Maybe.

Unless it's phrased badly, which is entirely possible, Bendis only said that McGuire has been given issue #10.

But can you imagine the directors cut for JLA 3000?

Printing both takes on the story.

Bendis actually has been great on "Guardians of the Galaxy". As I've said previous...the book has surprised me a lot! It seems we are going to have rotating artists on the book now then?

I'll check out Kesel on Fantastic Four. I was wondering how "Inhumanity" would affect Fraction's two books.

Karl Kesel on FF might get me to read Marvel again. He and Tom Grummett should have been the go-to team decades ago.

Well, FF has been good but F4 has been horrible, it really needs a new writer. Maybe a change will help it, I just hope Ff doesn't decline in quality.

I dropped the FF titles a couple issues into the Fraction run... hard to follow up Waid then Straczynski then Millar then Hickman.

Millar's run started exciting but dumb and turned terrible by the end.

Yes, Millar's end ended horrifically anti-climatically. That was outside factors, I believe the artist had a death in the family or something like that so they just ended it prematurely. But what a start!
