I was just watching "Loud As A Whisper," and realized that it kept making me cringe, and fidget, and I don't like doing those things, so I went ahead and made a silly summary of the episode. Now you try it for any TNG episode you like!

Tapestry The Ghost of Christmas Past comes to Picard & shows him what his life would have been like if nobody ever gave a crap about him, by letting him avoid fighting a few specimens from the Predator species, which is probably advisable, given that whiny lady smugglers & geriatric El-Aurians can kick his ass, & giving him roughly 30 years of experience to use in trying to pork that one girl he'd originally never given a 2nd thought to, in a far creepier way than was likely intended when conceived, in that they probably hadn't envisioned a balding middle aged man, squeezed into a cadet uniform, getting jiggy with a girl over half his age After rebooting his interesting life for an uninteresting one, he is surprised to learn that he's become uninteresting, & has to answer to the same people he'd normally consider so beneath him, that he'd rather just sit in his room reading hard copy books than see any of their stupid faces. The loss of what he valued most about his life, his superiority, was too much to bear After finally realizing that this wasn't a dream, which might have been easier if he'd brought along Zuzu's petals, he begs for the chance to return to the life he so thoughtlessly took for granted back at the beginning, when he decided to die, (How flippant of him) Thus, teaching him the important lesson that just because you do things that might get you killed, it doesn't mean you should ever have 2nd thoughts about them But most importantly, every time a Starfleet captain decides to not be boring, a Q gets wings......... Barbequed wings. They really like those... Who knew?
