Getting a bit obscure, I always thought Sci Fi's THE CHRONICLE had potential, and would probably fit in pretty well with Syfy's current lineup. Maybe as a replacement for EUREKA?

And THE GATES was killed just as it was getting good . . . . .

Yep. Guess it's your lucky day.

    Hmmm. This is tough.
I wouldn't mind Xena coming back, because I liked to look at Xena.
A few more years of Seaquest in the season 1 format would be nice.
SGU is an obvious choice. A tragedy.
Space:1999, again in Year 1 form only.

    Non genre-
I agree with the guy above who said Rome. Lots more good stories to tell during that era. (big Augustus fan)
Spenser for Hire (I'm an avid Robert Parker reader)
Also, The Equalizer. GREAT show. GREAT Stuart Copeland score. Edward Woodward was badass. And Robin Curtis never looked better as guest agent Ginger.

I enjoyed Earth 2, from what little I saw of it. Now you make me want to see the whole season.

    Agreed.

If I had the money, I'd hire Robert Hewitt Wolfe and let him loose to do Andromeda they way he wanted to do it the first time around, with decent per-episode budget for effects, wardrobe, sets, casting, etc.

Sarah Connor Chronicles. While I do think the show stumbled a bit during its second season, I still felt that it ended too early and I was left wanting more.

YES! I'd forgotten this series. Almost as good as the novels. And Avery Brooks was terrific as Hawk...

Not technically sci-fi, but I'd bring back Joan of Arcadia.

maybe Crusade (I didn't really like the Episodes that were made, but I didn't like most of B5's first season, either, and that turned out pretty well)

(and, if it were allowed, Firefly)

I'm sure this has been stated before but I'd bring back a rebooted "Sliders" starring Wil Wheaton and Felicia Day as the love interest.

TSCC and SGU are the only two I can think of that could be continued from where they left off with no problem and that I'd keep watching.

Doesn't really count but I do wish for a big budget X-Files movie.

Gerry Anderson's Thunderbirds, but only if it could use the original music.
It would probably have to be CGI animation made to look like puppets though - I expect real puppets would be too expensive these days.

Since the original poster mentioned it
Defying Gravity. I think it could go for a few seasons. It would be difficult to do a season 2 without a soap opera but they could still have character arcs from season 1 but go for more drama and flashback style nonlinear structure like Heroes & Lost.
and my second choice Max Headroom of a show to bring back.

Some of the replies mention a reboot. Not quite in the same topic as this thread as basically this thread is asking you which shows did you want more seasons of. I think. Bringing something back is not necessarily rebooting it.

Wanting a reboot is more along the lines of another thread:
scifi TV series ripe for a reboot

I think they were hoping for a Lost sort of show - they pretty much had a Hurley clone. I think it could have been made to work, it's a shame it wasn't more engaging.

    Bring back or continue:
    Quantum Leap
    OR
    DS9
    OR
Nowhere Man (if it counts as sci-fi)

    Revive and remake:
Enterprise (either like Many Coto had run it the whole time, or as a true early exploration show without phase pistols, polarized hull plating, transporters, etc.)
    OR
Heroes (like original concept with new heroes, new bad guys, new plots each season; with only a few continuing characters like Hiro and maybe Peter but make sure they use their powers correctly and consistently)
    OR
ALIAS (drop everything after season 2, keep it awesome like it was to start, and have a real direction/plan/end goal unlike what we got here or with LOST)

    New:
    Prime universe Star Trek
    OR
    "new" universe versions of TOS/TNG/DS9

For a new Trek Series, I'd enjoy seeing it turned on it's head, and having a Mirror Universe Series.

Not campy like the Kira DS9 episodes, but, take it back to what we saw in TOS. Have the Federation be the conquering bad guys, and let another race be the Heroes.

Might not be enough interest from a widestream audience if the Federation were the bad guys for it to last very long, but, a 10 episode Mini-series with one continuous War Story arc (IE: Like Torchwood Children of the Earth), just might be able to make it.

    Too Fan-wanky?

Oh yeah, I was very sorry to see that show get killed too. I love seeing Amber Tamblyn in anything.
